A small simple hill

Minimum physical is need to go up the hill..basically just some steps only. Simple hill with no extraodinary thing.

As mentioned, steps are steep. Be prepared to climb quite a bit. At the top, the place looks really derelict. Nothing much to see at the church, there's a nice view from the top though. Probably stayed about 10mins at the top before making my way down.

I love travelling to Malacca its just so peaceful and its my sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Singapore! This plae has to be my all time fave, its just so peaceful and there is a family of a mother cat and her 5-6 kittens there. Its especially nice to wake up early and go see the sunrise from... More

This is an interesting hill with history of the Portuguese and the Dutch. After our short walk/hike that takes only less than 15 mins from Red Square, you are now on the top of the hill! The ruins of the church are impressive. You will find there a lot of tombstones; dating back to 1650s. This old church is very... More

It is St. Paul's Church Ruins, so do not expect a lot because of the name itself. To be able to truly appreciate its beauty and worth, research on Malacca's history beforehand, because if not, you will miss the point of travelling to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is just a part of Malacca's treasure, a mere building ruins... More

Use to be a church up here in the hill where you have to climb up the stairs to get here, remember to your bring camera to take photos as you can see the nice view of Melaka. Remember to bring along water.

Quite a climb especially for the elderly or infirm but worth it for the magnificent views of Malacca and the history of the church

This place is on your route if you are walking from the Equitorial past the malls and heading for the river and Dutch square. You don't have to walk up to the top because you can always miss it out and walk around the hill via the road but you will miss the views, the church and a few other... More
