I know history is important, and if you're into the tales of the past then definitely research into it... and if you've got time to kill, then why not swing by? Because it's boiling and really not very interesting to stare at people taking photos of themselves smiling upon ruins- still, some pretty interesting buildings if you care or you're... More

The only thing which made the trip to Malacca worthwhile. Loved the church at the top and a lovely view of the sun setting.

Lovely short hike up. Filled with beautiful architecture and ruins. Loads of history. Beautiful view. A must visit if you're ever in Melaka!

A good walk around and up the steps to St. Paul's to see the beautiful view of Malacca and harbour. There's someone busking and you can enjoy good music and songs in this historical site.

The ruins at the hill, the old cannons with dates of manufacture, the settings on the hill, give a perfect glimpse of the past history of the Melaka and the way it was protected. Some of the tombs (as used by the Dutch) are worth a glimpse. You will be surprised to see the Skull and Bone depiction etched on... More

Good place to take the kids to. There was a museum near here too where they learnt the culture and tradition of our muslim friends in the past.

if you visit Malacca, then you have to visit this place. you can see about a historical of Portuguese here. little bit spooky, because most of the area are full of tomb. you can see Malacca area from the top. just going up and be careful on the top is little bit windy.

A short climb from Jonker Street takes you to St Paul's Hill. Don't worry, its just an easy ascent that even kids can easily do. Above, you have a 180 degree view of the Melaka town. Check out the ruins of St Paul's Church.
