Liked: The view of Melaka from the hill. Disliked: 1>The steps to the hill is tiresome(Take water with you if needed) 2>The church is all shattered. Just the walls remain and the tomb.Nothing else to be seen.

its a bit of a walk but it ll give you a really nice view of the city and the bay. Also, walk around it to have a free and nice view of the Governers' house.

Upon noticing a small entrance in my left side with an arrow saying “Bukit St. Paul”, I remembered reading in the map “St. Paul’s Ruins” and I thought about the similar named ruins in Macau, China. This may be some twin church ruins, considering that Macau and Melaka shared the same colonizers, the Portuguese. Well, the St. Paul’s Church Ruins... More

I took an advice from the hotel bell boy he said the nice place to view Melaka is from St Paul Hill so I went and it is true. To clim is a bit tired but worth climbing. The view is so nice.. looking forward to visit Melaka again next time with my friends.

For us who travelled with a four-year old, this place is not bad but it's not really a must. If you have time, you can go so you may tick one more box out of your Malacca to-do list. Located up on a hill, you can see The city of Malacca from here. The ruins are quite well maintained, but... More

You get an amazing view from the top of the hill. Its nice and breezy and from the old world, you can see the highrises, a window into the new world. Must go place in Melaka

The fact that it's remained a ruin since centuries ago and that it has so much of history behind it is fascinating. Huge granite tomb stones with Portuguese and Dutch inscriptions stand around the wall interior. Right here at the top of the hill with its strong sea breezes, you get a panoramic view of the Straits of Melaka. A... More

Yes, it IS a climb, but worth it. If you are light-headed or have weak legs, attempt it slowly with a bottle of 100plus or equivalent drink. It is worth every step! The 400 year old gravestones, the remarkable solid construction, and the occasional cat, make this site a must! Also visit the Dutch Graveyard at the bottom of the... More

Get ID card? It was here. Get in court? It was here. All structures are original and well prserved and thus what you see is a true aging natural museum only historical events made. No man-made museum could compare to this one because no man could make the hill, and the soil of St. Paul. Don't miss this place!

Amazing that while some cities are intent on destroying their heritage, Melaka has been able to preserve a building such as this - full credit. To see the old grave headstones etc from over 400 yrs ago, was an experience, and the view from the top of the hill, was well worth it.
