You can see the ruins of St. Paul Church which was built by the Portuguese. It's pretty neat and relaxing once you've arrived at the place.

Is a good exercise to be up at the hill. However, not much to be seen as some of the tombs has been moved. The language publish there was in Dutch while most visitors know nothing to read nor they have and translation. When I was there? I was the translator for my friend and which a little annoyed because... More

One of the highest easily accessible places to visit in Malacca, St Pauls Hill has remains of an old church and pathways to many museums, the Dutch graveyard and the Stadhuys. It's basically the centre of many of the best sights to see in Malacca. It also gives you a lovely (if distant) view of the sea. Well worth it.

Getting on a hill givez you a nice view at a city, so worth vetti g there for these few snaps. The ruins are not particularly i interesting themselves, but in combination with a few souvenir stalls and an opportunity to have a picture taken with some reptile and/or a parrot it is a nice place. Close proximity to other... More

It only left with ruined wall of the church and they did painted the tower and the status. Sadly, an irresponsible people engraved some wordings at the wall which was supposedly to be preserve as it's a heritage site. However it have a stunning view overlooking the town.

We came from the Formosa gate side which took a few minutes to get to the top. St Paul's church was interesting for me as I was able to read the dutch tombstones. It was crowded with hawkers but they were not pushy. I can see why this site was fought over so many times. Well worth the effort to... More

The view from the top of the hill is great and worth the climb. The ruins are great to see and have been preserved well. The walk up to the church can be busy and theres a few sets of stairs so it can be hot at some times of the day.

Any trip to Malacca should include a trip to the ruins of St Paul's church which is situated at the top of St Paul's Hill. While the climb up may be a little tiring, the view from there makes the climb worth it!
