Great old buildings with wonderful history. There are many market stalls with great buys to be had. More

recommended visit the Stamp museum. the square itself is a centre point of Malacca Old Town-Bandar Hilir. Many tri-cycle with it's colourful decorations and those with music make the square living. Many meseum around the area, some may skip if you are lack of time. More

Colorful with the tourist trishaws, nice warm colored buildings that make for nice photos and stalls selling tourist junk-that is what it is. You will pass through will walking to the other sites and that is as much time as you need. More

pretty square with all the decorated tri cycles, it is where the night market is held which is a huge attraction and very busy, the church is the centre attraction. More

The square is just the start of it all...you can find almost anything in the way of cheap, touristy and wildly colourful in this wonderful location. Tacky, tacky, and kitsch but oh so wonderful!!!! Plenty of shops and restaurants (3 McDonalds within 2 minute walk) so fine if you want that. Not much character though so no need to stay long. More
