Tour around the house are provided and the staffs are really friendly. But still you need to pay the entrance fee. Interesting place to know the culture of Baba and Nyonya, particularly the Peranakan lifestyle.

15RM with tour guide is worth to visit. The tour guide was very informative about the roots of Baba and Nyonya in Melaka. The museum shows artifacts which have been used in the past and they have story link to Baba and Nyonya family.

Probably something new to me, never really understand what is Baba-Nonya all about. Pretty interesting and educational, worth a visit. although the museum is small, but it is able to give you a good idea on what this special group is all about.

My daughter has an assignment on Malacca, so I brought her to this museum to understand more of the Straits Chinese culture. The tour was very detailed. You learn things that you can never find in school textbooks as many of the stories was related directly from the owner. If possible, I would prefer each group to limit to a... More

It was an eye opening experience and the guides are very detailed in telling the history of the family that used to live here. The artefacts are all very well preserved and really tell the story of a heritage that is very rich and colourful.

Very good experience. Guided tour is very interesting and informative. Guests' reception is exceptional. It helps to understand better the history of Malacca and Malaysia. Before leaving the museum the guide even gave us a bottle of water.

Do take a guided tour of an hour. The explanations are critical to understanding the history of the Straits Chinese. The original clothing, pottery, china, furniture, and antiques are on display. Traditions of the Chinese and the Malay and their heritages are explained by the guide. Wedding traditions, courtship, family integrations, and the entire Baba and Nyonya cultures are evident...
