A very interesting and informative tour of the House Museum thanks to Shirley. She knew her subject well and gave us a lovely glimpse into Peranakan history and life. The tour lasted an hour and is well worth the RM15 entry fee.

I think it's overrated. However there is no problem to give it a visit! But read as much as you can before you get there, or don't and save your money!

This is a 'must visit' when you are in Malacca. Even though there may be other similiar places. This is still privately owned and everything in the house on display were used by the family. It is very interesting to see how the rich lived in those days. And the customs and traditions of the perankans are still so rich... More

This house, still privately owned, belongs to a very special culture - the Baba-Nonya which is unique to this area. It's well preserved and the tour, included in the entry price of 15MYR, is informative and interesting. Allow an hour for the tour.

It's good to know the origins of the people of Melaka. The place is very well maintained and preserved. The entrance door was just a little bit narrow.

We spent an enjoyable afternoon on a tour of this house. Our guide was extremely informative and told us a great deal about the Baba-Nonya culture and the family who lived in the house who in-fact still own it. This really is a must when in Melaka.
