Melaka Heritage Centre has many beautiful building to be seen. What I like the most is because every historic building in here is located not too far away from each other, so you could finish the tour of this city in one day.

If u want to get away from the maddening crowd, to a beautiful quaint place brimming with history, then Melaka/ Malacca is the place to go ! A beautiful city, with vignettes of a Portuguese past visible all over it, but which also is cosmopolitan in nature - with Chinese & Hindu Temples complementing the English & Portuguese Churches. The... More

A small city with a lot of heritage, they save the city well. Im so in love with all the details. Hope I can go to this city again someday. The reason why Im not give a five rating just because the facilities totally different with KL even though I realized that KL is the capital city, but I think... More

Impressed with this historical building which still strong standing. Windy place up the hill. There's some people also selling nice painting with a reasonable price. Must visit place when you're in Malacca

I wasn't prepared for the beauty and majesty of Malacca (Melaka)....but before that, I'd like to recount the experience we had getting to Melaka by bus... Coming from KL, Chinatown area, we took the LRT from Plaza Rakyat station going to TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan). We bought tokens from the machine and the fare costs RM 1.70 per person. Make... Went here last Feb 7, 2014. Malacca or Melaka is around 2 hours from KL, this historical city centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008. Conquered by the Portuguese, you can still see their influences up to now. The old palace, large buildings left by the Europeans, many private houses and shops from... More

Not to big, not to small, 2-3 hours time will do unless u spend another hour somewhere for a rest. The area is a nice combination of the current Malaysia with the historical background of the straits settlements. You can feel and see the past - the coming and going of various beliefs and systems and what remained from it.... More

2nd visit to Malacca. No need a taxi ride, we just walked all the way from our hotel to KotaA Famosa. Beautiful view at the top of the hill. Took a good look at Christ Church and enjoyed local food at Jonker Walk.

Started our journey from Bukit Bintang by mini van along with my family to see the historical city of Malacca. Indeed it was a worth visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our journey. Malacca is a historical city and mostly Portuguese were ruled once. The castle built by Portuguese which is good to see. There're few museums where one can enter... More
