It is near for who stay at Johor Bahru. Seems hot and a long way for a walk. Well, there is a train service, just queue up and hop on. Saving your energy and time.

Got a taxi from the hotel for RM40, spent most of the day wondering around. Easy chance to see some Malaysian wildlife.

Melaka Zoo in 1980 - abandoned Zoo with very minimal to view at animals an as a student back on that time muck low education tour, several years later back now. Must say kudos to Malacca Government that should proud, what was different now. Different part of the worlds animal collections can see now days. Excellent for kids education.

for adults are nothing special, but my 2 kids very happy. We went there on the 2nd day of Hari Raya. No crowded, no long queue & no jam in the car park. My kids really enjoy watch Animal shows, foods & beverages are expensive. Tip: Show your MyKad to get discount.

Some animals running free (incl. monkeys), very jungly and exotic, definitely worth a visit. Easy to access by bus.

Expensive entrance fee (22.5 ringgit for foreigners), and a zoo falling a part. Even it is written everywhere do not feed the animals, and they check at the entrance if you carry any food, we saw a zoo keeper feeding macaques with chips and soda... Most of the animals didn't have water to drink. Crocs no water to swim. Etc,... More
