Forget Anjuna or Baga! This is the BEST beach in Goa for those who are looking for awesome food providing shacks and a place to relax. Take a mocktail or a beer and just chill on the sand or in the shacks! It's lesser crowded - much lesser crowded and majority of them are foreigners. The beach is in far... More

Palolem is probably the best beach in Goa. It is a clean beach with great shacks and some water sports to offer. We were particularly excited about the kayaking experience. Most shacks offer kayaks at approximately Rs.100 an hour. A must experience for 'water babies'.

If you stay on South Goa, you probably want to stay in Galgibaga, Agonda or Patnam cause they are more seclude and the nature is more untouched. But Palolem will be always part of your routine, to get a different restaurant, some drinks or just feel the vibration of the most touristic beach around,

This beach is located in South Goa. This beach is very clean and gives divine experience. You can visit here with family as well as with friends also. You may chose to relax or enjoy water sports or go for a dolphin ride. Nights are more entertaining than days as you may find lots of light arrangements, silent dance parties... More

I thoroughly recommend doing a cooking class with Rahul (his website is easy to find online) - 6 of us took part and cooked 4 dishes plus chapati. It was by far the best food we had while we were there. Rahul is very clear with his instructions, and helps you understand the spices and technique. Plus we were given... More

Drive to Palolem beach from south Goa is typically experiencing Konkan. At times you will have hills by your side and then you will be smashed by the sudden appearance of the sea. I was expecting it to be v calm and quite but not as i thought it to be,The beach has a big market and cafes on its... More

Went for a day out from Calangute to Palolem beach in March. Its a 2 hour taxi ride into the southern part of Goa. The taxi dropped us at the arch on to the beach, we turned right as it looked quieter & less of a walk. Not so many restaurants/shacks on this side & the first one we stopped... More

All I can say is "I love you Palolem"...Its clean, its beautiful, its perfect to swim, it has friendly people all around. Located in the secluded south Goa, this beach is not crowdy like the beaches in North Goa. It has the restaurants and cafe's who serves awesome food and great Mango Margaritas and the TIDE is just so perfect. I... More

So you hear that South Goa is better than North Goa and then you hear its like 80 km from the nearest Tourist Hub City like Mapusa and Panji and that South Goa is more residential and less tourist, you will obviously get disheartened. Trust me you dont want to miss out on this piece of paradise. The Way to... More
