This is an awesome Beach! It's clean, pristine, soft sand and you can go deep into the water as the bed is flat and walkable! This is where you can enjoy swimming/spending time in water! You will see lotsa dead fish on the shore. But don't fret too much about it.

This is one beach which I found quiet peaceful and has less people. It is very far away from Panaji. It is almost 70 kms from Panaji towards south (almost at the Goa border). The waters were also good, compared to other beaches in Goa. There are very few shops and one good restaurant to eat.

I have many times got an opportunity to visit this beach as its very close to my working area in coastal Karnataka. Unlike the beaches full of hustle bustle in north Goa this beach is calmer, cleaner and gives a very fresh feel. With almost negligent water sports in the area, this beach is more known for relaxation which is... More

This was suggested for its blue water and is supposed to the best beach on Goa. But since this was monsoon time the water was not blue and the beach was small not sure if during monsoon it gets small due to the tide. Overall a nice place with small hills on both edges of the beach.

Extremely nice and peaceful beach. When I think of a beach I always imagine a place where I can chill, relax quietly, drink and listen to waves. Palolem offers exactly that. Unlike other beaches like candolim, gaga, etc. this is much less crowded. During off season also it is the best place to visit, if rain is not too much.... More
