Personally speaking, I found this beach as the best location in Goa to Chillax!!. I would say its not a perfect beach, in that sense Agonda and Mandrem would beat this location any day. Yet, this is the most awesome place, I found in Goa!! Negatives first: (Actually I want to give Zero stars to this place, as i want... More

Sparse population, with excellent food (only 2 or 3 shacks are there). kayaking facility available in the backwaters - they charge Rs. 300 for an hour ride.

We stayed a Blue Lagoon for two nights in a Rajhistani tent. We found it quite busy during the day, however as dusk depends so does the peace. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and what a place to do it. Gorgeous food in a romantic setting. We will remember this little bit of paradise forever.

The most splendid beach of south goa ...it has the oomph factor when you look towards the fresh water lake . It clears your mind of all the prolonging thoughts n u will fall in love with the view. Enjy swimming in fresh sweet water, kayaking or just lay in d sun with all the peace u want. A must... More

Gorgeous beach with a freshwater lagoon separated from the sea by a 10m wide bar of sand. Very tedious approach however, so take a car or a jeep, NOT a Dio or Activa. The approach road is broken and hilly- very tedious.

Its secluded, quiet and clean. It takes a bit to reach this beach but thats what gives it its charm.

I visited Cola Beach a few times during my stay in South Goa. The lagoon is great for a swim & you have a choice of that or the sea only metres away. I liked to spend a couple of hours there but if you prefer to stay overnight there are some really nice beach huts.

I would rate it is the best beach in South Goa minus the 2km bumpy road travel from the main road. Almost 8km north of Agonda lies this goan paradise with its beautiful lagoon...Be ready for the adventurous bumpy ride but never miss this beach.... Make sure you take a good vehicle with sufficient petrol.

its bit far off..almost 30 kms from Palolem..make sure you bikes have enough petrol as no petrol pumps on route. Reaching there is a tough ask, 1 km of muddy road, but once you reach there its worth it. Peace calmness.....away from all commercialised beaches...2-3 shaks, comparatively less people and best part fresh water river on one side and ocean... More
