We hired automatice scooterettes to travel from Agonda to Cabo De Rama. The drive is awesome and i advice you to do the same. There is one spot on the fort, which is is the highest and where people take most of their photos. One can also go down from a side road that twists and turns terribly (not for... More

Fort and church overlooking picturesque views to both sides. The fort is a ruin but the church was lovely and the views worth going for.

We hired a bike and went on stroll of south Goa. I loved the serene atmosphere of the place. We reached there in the afternoon and the place was very quite. They run a school in the building and kids were leaving the fort. The views are amazing from the fort. The only drawback is perhaps cleanliness and the fact... More

Wonderful views though, down to the coast. Lovely place to spend an evening walk, and then go to Agonda for supper.

Portuguese claimed the Cabo de Rama Fort after defeating the Raja (King) of Soonda and renovated it subsequently. In the past, the fort has switched hands between Hindu, Muslim monarchs and the Portuguese and witnessed many battles in history. The present rickety structure with turrets and rusty cannons is a leftover of the Portuguese. The Portuguese equipped it with 21... More

We visited Cabo De Rama fort in October 2013. We took a cab from Madgaon to the fort. The way to this fort becomes just great as you start getting closer to the fort through the hilly area. The road to the fort is good.. so no issues taking a car/cab there. Make sure you get there with your shoes... More

Please give it a miss! There is nothing to see .... the place is deserted and in absolute ruins. We drove 2 hours with no road signs but relying on google maps. What a disappointment! Scary for kids and elderly people so don't risk it. No refreshments or toilet facilities. Please carry some water if you still want to go!
