Great fort - with lots of greenery inside and a still active Church. The view of the sea from the ramparts is great. You can trek down a steep path to the rocky beach below, however, not for people with small kids. But the view of the sea from the fort walls is terrific.

The day we planned to visit Cabo De Rama fort was very bright and sunny. It's better to visit this Fort early in the morning or evening, but don't get too late in the evening as it's a long and lonely drive. Also, if you are staying in South Goa, not all south goa places are close to this place.... More

The Fort of Cabo de Rama is a great piece of history and of the Portuguese occupation period. Before visiting it, one cannot expect how big it actually is. Within the surrounding walls are found traces of fields, foundations of former houses and other facilities. However be careful, for one some parts of the walls close to the cliff, the... More

Cabo de Rama Fort was built by the Portuguese to keep away invaders from what is now Karnataka and Maharastra. The cannons overlooking the Arabian Sea are still there as reminders of a bygone era. The Fort also houses a church to St. Anthony and is the only church for the residents of the place which may be a 100... More

The ride to this place is just splendid as it runs through forest and gives you some breathtaking views of the sea. There is a fort, you can climb up the wall to have a gaze at the sea, capture the panoramic view. Some of the spectacular views you can get from the cliff and walk down to the beach... More

A rocky fort with awesome views from the top. Looks best during monsoons The road that leads to fort is almost like it ends in the sea. Just beautiful. Must not miss while you are in Goa. The drive to the fort is amazing! People who know Goa only for beaches will change their mind. Lush green Goa, good roads... More

This is the very good place to visit with Family / Group. (dist is 25-30 km from Cansaulim) We hired a bike from Cansaulim and had a wonderful ride till this destination. The roads are good to reach here. The Fort is very outside of the city so no hotels on the way where you can have lunch or dinner.so... More

This place is located far from the touristy Goa, but it's an absolute must visit and trek around the walls of the fort.

The ruins are pretty much in decent shape. The views are excellent. Not many people visit this place. So, its quite and secluded. But, that is where its charm lies!
