This is one of the best locations of South Goa. A simple description of this place is one that connects sky, land and sea. Yes, this place has a deck on the top from where you can enjoy the vast sea. A quite church to celebrate the peace this place has to offer. And if you go through the small... More

What an unexpected excursion on my last day in India! Local restaurant owner took me on a personal tour on his bike. It was exquisite scenery, history - even found a local man harvesting coconuts near the ocean's edge who cut open fresh coconuts for us to drink and eat. It was like a movie! So fun!!!

Decided to visit this fort after searching tourist spots in South Goa on Google. We drove to this fort from Royal Haathi Mahal resort. It took nearly 45 minutes to reach there. The Fort doesn't have much remains, not maintained at all. Yes, but you will love watching backside sea view and so called pebble beach. Inside the Coba De... More

We just saw it on the Google Maps and tried to visit. It turned out to be a nice drive. The Fort itself does not have much remains, but yes the view is worth trying !! And while driving down here there is a plateau on the way, do stop by and spend some time !!

Its a beautiful ride to the fort with good and super clean roads, plus the sea view along the way makes for a thrilling experience. Don't miss the pebble beach left of the church, the views at the beach is mesmerizing!

We were the only people in here at the time, the views from here are amazing, plus we were able to watch eagles soaring on the thermals.

This indeed is a hidden treasure of south goa...about 20 km from palolem beach on the margaon palolem road take a sharp left down to reach this ancient fort . This is a protected heritage site.Once you enter the fort you will see see St Antonys church. Look around for a trail that leads to a rickety revolving gate and... More

the fort was long forgotten and is gradually getting covered by plants and trees outgrowing them. Not a soul around and was a little scary but had ventured to climb the immediate steps to watch the view from there. And wowwww.....it was a spellbound view from the top with a crescent rocky beach at the bottom and a cliff right... More

This is an old broken-down fort, high up on a hill overlooking the coast. We were there just after some rain and the place looked green and nice. There is a view point close to this fort (not marked with any directions though) which is great place for watching the sunset from.

The location of the fort is very scenic. It is on a cliff, quite high. But what remains of the fort is its entrance gate, a newly build church inside and the two storey height viewing platform towards the western side of the fort. The fort is open from 9:30 AM till 5:30 PM. The view from the platform is... More
