This beach contains one of the best eateries, shacks and pubs in Goa,it also has some water sports for entertainment, the best time to enjoy is from 5:30 to 10:30 pm.At night the whole area is lit up with shacks making a pleasant sight to walk in the sand.Don't go to Goa if you are not going to this beach!

Baga is a lovely beach..very neat and swim worthy. The rocks at a distance add to the beauty and the hill at the right hand side gives you the feeling of any European destination. Another attraction is Martin's Corner on the Baga Beach..You will love it.

The Tourism Board have restricted the beach Peddlar activities by Licensing them. Also "on the Beach" massage is a thing of the past , you need to go to a scaffold and tarpaulin "Parlour" at the rear of the various Bars to endure this torture. Still hugely entertaining every day though.

Relatively one of the quieter beaches of goa. Early morning bare feet walk on this beach is a must from mambos lane till the main beach.

The one beach everyone talks, brags and loves in Goa- "Baga Beach". This place is always lovely to visit all round the year, during peak season the crowds swell up in this part of calangute. The parties, the shacks and the clean beach are a crowd puller. The shacks offer decent food, good booze and an everlasting starry view of... More

Baga Beach is strictly for those people who love the crowds and the resultant commercialism that comes with that. The most popular of all Goa beaches, Baga is now an institution in itself being the first place that all the tourists and buses head to in Goa. So sights of pot-bellied men in their underwear jostling with bikini clad women... More
