One of the best beaches for spending your personal time, laze around and gaze the sunset.... Calm waters, cool January weather and a fantastic sunset with no hustle - bustle really make this beach one of the best beaches.... Its like your own 'private Beach' indeed :-)

A really deep strip of cream coloured sand with absolutely no boom boom "music" pounding out of bars. Just the sound of the birds and the sea. if you want to eat, try Sea Waves (towards the south of Betalbatim) Beach Shack. Lovely staff, excellent menu, even for veggies and well cooked.

This beach was beautiful, had nice areas that you could swim but it had shacks that had Russian flags flying from them all over the place and even the writing was in Russian.

Betal Batim is one of the quietest and serene beaches of Goa. There were hardly any tourists. Once can enjoy the long walks in the beach. There are few shacks. When we entered the beach, the sand on the ground had unique texture. It was grainy with different colors. Overall, its a nice beach to relax with family.

Quiet clean and patrolled. Have to watch the dumping surf if you have small kids but the water seemed clean Better than Colva up the road which was too crowded

Very nice not as crowded as Colva or Calangure. Good place to spend time with family and friends. Likes the shacks serving good food, the crowd, the water sports offered here and of course the locals of goa. During dec. the prices of everything soared..thats what i did not like :)

This beach is not on the usual route map. Clean waters , few beach shacks and only tourists from Nanus Resort , Villagio Inn, Coconut Groove and few other resorts nearby visit the beach. You will usually not find bus load of tourists. Water sports is available with velankkani... it is better than Colva or Covallesum

A fantastic serene beach, not highly populated. The shacks were nice and the way to the beach you meet a crazy kashmiri guy trying to sell you al sorts of stuff. White sands and pine trees greet you as you are about to enter the main beach area. Be sure to wear shoes or sandals as there might be a... More

Sunset beach in Betalbatim is a great place for being alone with the sea - just the sound of the waves, the long walks, the shells on the shore, and when you need a break from the solitude, the only shack in the area is there to help you out. Sunset beach is very close to the famous Martin's Corner.... More

I have to rate the beaches here as one of the best on the planet. Do take care when tides are high or on the turn as waves can be dangerous if you cant swim. Low tide is best where sand is flat so a lot safer. Beach shacks are great for food, drinks and sunbeds and are very cheap.... More
