It's nice less crowded beach as compare to other North Goa beaches, from Sinquerim to Candolim it is good less crowded but not far from markets. There are many good shacks around this beach.

Candolim beach is around 4 kms from Baga and 2 kms from Calangute beach. Tourists who prefer to be away from the over crowded Baga and Calangute beaches can head to Candolim. During season time, usually November to April, the beach is lined with numerous shacks as customary in all Goan beaches and also has water sports activities. We usually... More

The beach is clean compared to the other beaches in North Goa. The water sports are very cheap as we had done the same in Thailand. Para sailing was again a good experience with the Goan guys.

we went there after South goa and hence found the beach too crowded. The shacks were plastered almost end to end and when we went the sea was at a stage where there was only a narrow strip of beach between the sea and the shacks which would be crowded. If you go in the evening you could see the fishermen... More

I visited Baga and Calangute in North Goa, those are good beaches with lot of water sports but relatively dirty. On the other hand, Candolim beach was less crowded, relatively clean. But it lacks water sports activities.

I have been to goa several times. But this was my first time at Candolim beach and it made me realise that we are playing with fire, when we visit any such place. This March when I was there in the beach with my son, I had a nasty experience. We were at the shore and my son was enjoying... More
