The quieter end of the beach opposed to the Bagar end. Very good for Shopping, quieter nightlife with very good restaurants. Good hotel complexes more suitable for very young families the romantics or the more mature travellers. Safer swimming at this end but can still be rough waves at times. People tend to pick a beach shack and stick with... More

It is a calm and quite beach. It isn't as clean as some others, but definitely above average on cleanliness. It was good air and some decent shacks to sit and laze around. The night is the best time.. when there is no one, but you and the sea and the stars :)

For a beach thats so close to Calangute, Candolim is a nice beach. It is supposed to have a strip of bars which came highly recommended but I didnt end up going there. Its a 15 min walk from Calangute

It's quite underrated beach. Its very peaceful, relaxing and but still has got that charm, beach shacks and its awesome food and water sports and rides. Its definitely better than baga and calangute beach as you have less crowd and thus the relaxed feeling.

Beautiful clean beach, crystal clear water. A bit crowded, but that was dependant on time of day. And great to be able to dine right there on the beach.

Very quiet, calm and clean beach. Excellent market and restaurants on both sides of the road leading upto the beach with a free car parking. Beach itself is perfect if you wanna just be on the sand and relax under the sun all day long. Gave me a feel of how south GOA would be like. If you are looking... More

I think out of the 3 close to close beaches, this one is more calmer or less crowd I'd say. When we were there, saw a lot of folks playing with frisbees and beach volley ball. But no typical crowd you'd see in Calangute.
