This is an old Portuguese fort which was used in old days to anchor ships and store goods and arms. This fort also hosts a big lighthouse. You would need to walk around a lot and climb stairs to enjoy the beauty of this place. This place offers an excellent view of Arabian sea dotted with small and large boats.Worth... More

The fort is very well maintained and a pleasure to look at. The children enjoyed the place a lot. There should be more dustbins (which do not look an eyesore).

Near to Aguada Fort, this lighthouse is newly constructed and it offers good view of Fort and Vagator Beach. There are charges for entry (10 rs) and photography (20 rs) and some iron staircase to reach the top of lighthouse. But worthy visit.

This is a very nice place to visit. The view from the top of the fort is great. From this place while coming down we can also take the boat to see the Dolphins and also a water tour to see the fort and the jail from the sea. Great experience to see the dolphins.

if you like have a 360 degree view of the sea around GOA. This is the place you must go to. The only limitation is that you would need to climb a 12 foot ladder to reach the top most observation point of the lighthouse.

Located within the precincts of the Aguada fort is a four-storey lighthouse, erected in 1864 and arguably the oldest of its kind in Asia. This lighthouse was used during Portugal regime. There is no entry to the lighthouse.

This looked good when I visited first in 2004. Since then I have had a chance to visit many others and believe this one is average but highly popular because it's goa. Travel along the fort boundary, walk till the light house have a good look at the sea. Must watch if it's your first visit to goa

Expansive and beautiful views all round, the Aguada Fort and Lighthouse premises made for a great afternoon walk in the rains.
