The ride up to the Fort is scenic and a quick short get away from the beaches. So go there atleast for the short ride up and if you like a little brush with history then this Portugese fort can tell you a story with its open yards, dark corridors, scenic view of the Arabian Sea. Nothing special except that it has a lighthouse obviously overlooking the sea. We drove after midnight. Stopped and had a walk around and drove back. Visit only if you want a break from the Sleep-Swim-Ride-Eat-Drink-Sleep routine at Goa.

This site is a reasonable trek to get to, and certainly offers commanding views of the nearby coastline and ocean, but the coastline in view is nothing particularly special. Not worth the effort.

The lighthouse of Fort Aguada is the only structure worth capturing inside. Although Fort Aguada is an important tourist attraction, it doesn't have public transport service atop the hill. The last bus stop is at the foot hill near Sinquerim beach, it is a long climb uphill. It's recommended to visit this place with private transport arrangement.
