The lighthouse is an interesting structure with a spiral ramp to the top, though unfortunately it's not open to the public. Nearby is a modern lighthouse.

the lighthouse is normally closed, it opens only in the evening so it is very important to get the timing right the view of the sea specially in monsoon season is simply stunning...

The Lighthouse situated in the Fort was used as a Watchtower during the early centuries. However most of the time it is closed nowadays. However we got lucky and got to see the view from the Top. Its a serene calm view from the Top, although there was a strong breeze blowing when we were there.

The view is prettier from the light house than the ruins. But it gets quite crowded with people flocking the place after a couple of scenes from Dil Chahta Hai were shot here.
