This was the worst trip I have ever taken when travelling! Was based in Palolem (absolutely beautiful - go there!) and took a 2 hour taxi ride to the market. We were told it was an absolute must and couldn't be missed - wrong! It has all the same stuff as every other stall around Goa, but with less charm!... more

Anjuna fleamarket is only business nothing else.The charm is gone. All the traders come mostly from other states like Kashmir,Rajasthan and Ladahk,they work in Goa only in tourist season, and with the money they earned they can live more than six months in their state. Tibetian silver is not real silver,the items have only a silver coat. It is fashion... more

My wife and I visited the market , only because it was a ´must do´ and to be quite honest we thought is was a rip off right from the first stall.I purchased a so called leather belt but when I got it home it turned out to be plastic (when you bend it , it breaks! ) a cheap... more
