Great RV camping. About 10 degrees cooler than the city and a gentle breeze all the time. This park has a great history tied to Americas space program. Sites are quite spacious and in deep wooded cover.

This is such a pleasant and beautiful place to stroll and enjoy the Mountain. We lived near the Park when our grown children were young and we once again enjoyed this very special place. It is definately worth the drive up the Mountain to experience this Park.

Great place for a company picnic. There were about 1000 people. Great for large groups. Plenty of picnic tables, play ground, and softball fields. The bathrooms need to be updated. Not in good shape. The views are beautiful and hiking was fun. Overall a good place to have a picnic and relax.

This is the best park I have been to and we regularly go camping into the woods. Everyone in the family calms down when we arrive there and looks fordward to going there again.

This is by far one of the jewels of the Alabama park system, it is our favorite place to camp and hike down here! There are many great hiking trails and things to see! The art festival is fantastic, with many great artists on exhibit.

We love to take our dogs (leashed!) up to Monte Sano and give them a nice walkabout. There are lots of trails, and it's typically about 10F degrees cooler up on the mountain than it is below--always a bonus!

We have been to Monte Sano several times. Have stayed in their cabins and camped at the campgrounds. It's always clean and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Great place on top of the mountain to hike, bike, cook out, play ball, take the kids or someone you want to hang out with. I have enjoyed this mountain since I was a teenager. Go ahead make some memories - this is the place to do it.
