Go here from time to time and spend most of the day just relaxing and reading magazines and periodicals. Get online if you have library card or get a day pass. People are nice and courteous. Couple times a year they have their "friends of the library " book sale which is always fun with tons of books offered.

I have been several times to the Library, and I am almost certain most people working their hate their jobs. Poor customer service seems to be the norm there. The books are well kept, and orderly, but the establishment could use a good cleaning.

So many books available! Youth area has a ton of books available, computer games, story and craft time. My children call this the Library Castle because of the building's architecture. People travel to see the Library when determining family genealogy because there is a floor with that information. Information galore!

On our last day in Huntsville we were looking for something for the kids to enjoy...and something free. This library was a great choice. It looks more like a high tech book store then any library I've been too. The kids "youth services" section is an amazing section for kids. could hardly get our kids to leave!

We stopped for Story Time and my kids LOVED IT! The story teller was born to do this! My kids watched her the whole time. They interacted, sang and acted out the story and songs. After about 20 minutes we moved to the toddler tables and did a craft. To say my kids loved it belittles their experience. It's all... More

Love the Huntsville/Madison Co Library system! Lots of DVDs and CD's, computer access, they will get you books from any of their branches, can keep a book 6 weeks (unless others are waiting). Have programs in the atrium. Sell used books cheap. Great system! LOVE IT!

Lots of books, videos, reference materials, etc and an exceedingly helpful staff. Otherwise known locally as "Fort Book"

Smallish library with a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. I like that we can also request books from other libraries in the Huntsville/Madison system.

This library has a marvellous selection of books, etc. Their family history (geneology) department is fantastic. I found so many historic documents here on our family.

I love going on line, reserving a book, and they find it in their system (about 10 different libraries) and have it delivered to the library nearest my office.
