My 8 year old loved it

My 8 year old loved this place... it was a struggle to get her to leave. She would have stayed all day.

Adults will enjoy some of the stations as much as the kids. Allow 1 hour minimum for everyone to make their way through. Could easily spend 2 hours.

Me the the kids (6 and 11) spent most of the day here. At first it looks somewhat simplistic, but actually there are many stations and each station takes time to manipulate. More stations were functional than is often the case. In other words, the kids continually break these hands on exhibits and they must be repaired. Often in these... More

Great one-story science museum for kids. We got in free with an ASTC membership to our home science museum, always a bonus. My kids are 4 and 7 and there was plenty for both of them, we stayed 2.5 hours and they easily could have stayed more. There are guided activities each hour (animal show, science experiment), but plenty of... More

I was between very good and average on this place. Very good for the great variety, average for the small space and lack of defined space. Everything feels very crammed together. There is a merry go round type thing which ALL the kids love, but only one child can go on it on a time. I imagine there is a... More

Kids (4 and 8) had a good time, although probably geared more for 6-10 year-olds in terms of scientific info. But my four-year-iold still had fun. Of the 30 or so little exhibits, only one was not operational. Seems to be a fun place for a kid's party, too. A bit steep in price ($20).

Live animals, dozens of science inspired games, all in air conditioned comfort. Most of the games were beyond the comprehension of my 7 and 4 year old but there was still a lot to do and they weren't bored. They really liked the live science experiments and shows hosted by the staff. But get ready for your big adult nerd... More

Our discovery of this wonderful hands-on museum was a great afternoon visit. The grandparents had fun watching, helping and playing themselves. A creative museum that lets the child think, discover, create and participate. We will be back. All age appropriate.

We have been to several children's museums and this one was pretty good. It is smaller than some others we have been to, but they had a lot of very fun interactive stations. I would go again and most importantly, the kids had a blast. They have a chair that spins you in circles, giant bubble makers, a smell test... More

We stopped here because it was free through our ASTC membership. To an adult, it seemed like the place where traveling exhibits retire . . . but the kids loved it. I thought we would spend an hour or so hear and we ended up staying all day. A delightful little science museum, just be prepared to answer some questions... More

Thank you for the review. I am so happy to hear your kids had a great time, especially with the Grossology exhibits. Those exhibits can definitely encourage children to ask some interesting biology questions. Thanks again for stopping by! More
