I was impressed with the layout of this garden. It is very child friendly. They have sections with playgrounds and water play areas and children theme areas. The butterfly house was out favorite. The Alice and Wonderland theme was the theme of the park when we were there. See the locals use it as a day trip to the park.... More

Everyone with a family should visit this truly beautiful garden. We so enjoyed ourselves even though we ran out of time. Be sure to give yourselves at least 3-4 hours to explore every corner. I love the Alice in Wonderland theme; the children's garden was also really cool to explore as adults and older children. The Butterfly house was also... More

We visited just today during Armed Forces week. Got in free since my husband is a retired army veteran. We enjoyed the displays of "Alice in Wonderland" thru out the park. The flowers were beautiful and the butterfly house was relaxing and enjoyable. My only complaint is the map they provide you is very confusing and we missed a few... More

The Huntsville Botanical Garden is worth a leisurely visit during any season. Children delight in whimsical displays throughout the area. Adults rejoice in the beauty and serenity of trees, flowers, ferns, and beautiful landscaping. My husband and I once took a group to the Garden during a tour of Huntsville. Because it was late fall and the weather was a... More

The botanical garden in Huntsville is a wonderful pleasure. Their butterfly house is the largest in the nation and was alive with fluttering butterflies and a riot of colorful blooming plants. There's a pond with turtles and the whole structure is lovely, bright, airy and like walking into magic. When I visited there was a special Alice in Wonderland theme... More

I go to these gardens every year or so. The good is that they are kept clean and tidy, the not so good is that there is rather a lack of variety to the plants. However, I keep coming back as this provides a pleasant way to spend a few hours. Please be aware that the area has nearby public... More

This garden is a nice respite from the frenetic pace of the city. The peaceful environs lead one to a pleasant experience and a need to return. The water gardens are quite nice and trees and flowers are wonderful. The butterfly garden is a great place to visit in the summer months.

Well kept and beautifully kept. Lots to see and do for all ages. We visit as many gardens in our states as we can and this one was certainly gorgeous!

This Gardens was one of the better Southern locations...the grounds and details with the exhibits were all FUN and plenty to keep adults and children entertained for a nice day trip. Our grandaughter birthday surprise was made extra special by our visit.

This place is huge & absolutely gorgeous. Better way sturdy walking shoes because there's a ton of ground to cover & you don't want to miss a speck of it. The Alice in Wonderland theme was adorable, including the kitschy plastic pink flamingos. The butterfly enclosure was breathtaking & the metal art on one of the wooded walking paths was... More
