It was nice but not a flowery atmosphere. It had a few inside buildings. The village with the active locomotion was good. The pavilion with the fountains was beautiful. It's something to do if you just want to have a lazy, relaxing unadventurous day.

The gardens are beautiful but take plenty of water and wear comfortable walking shoes. Plan to spend at least an hour and bring a camera

I always enjoy a trip to the Huntsville Botanical Garden! The grounds are beautiful and I love hunting for new flowers and exhibits. Their seasonal exhibits are superb! My favorite place is the Hope Garden. I stop and say a prayer...

Lovely site to visit and spend time with family. Flowers and surroundings were beautifully landscaped.

I was looking for something to do with my four kids 10-2 while staying in Huntsville, I thought this would be boring for them, but honestly I didn't really have any other ideas, so I took them and we spent several hours here and really enjoyed it. They do a great job of making it fun and interesting for the... More

This is a reasonably sized botanical garden which can be explored and enjoyed in a day. The shade gardens are quite interesting and the beautiful display of lily pads within a grand outdoor brick surround was impressive. There are herb gardens, an excellent display of mature Japanese maples and a great gift shop as well. When I visited there was... More

What a beautiful place to take your family. They have so many things going on all year. The fall is my favorite and then Christmas. Checkout their schedule for events.

Finally took a trip here. I've been hearing about this place for a while but only gone during the Christmas light show. Wow! This place is great all year round. We loved the water features and the hammock swings was a nice place to relax for a minute or two. If you love butterflies the butterfly exhibit is a must... More

We arrived around 9:30 am. Fortunately we had a cloud cover for 2 hours. Beautiful walk and gardens but we are from west coast and not accustomed to the humidity and heat combo. They should have an early bird option in the summer. Open at sun up?
