Really Good Place To See College Baseball

This is a really good venue for seeing baseball games. I have been to many SEC Games and Birmingham Barons games here. Not a bad seat in the ballpark

I never liked baseball but everyone was extremely pleasant and not spitting tobacco juice everywhere.

Beautiful stadium in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Easy to get to. Main level is wide and easy to maneuver. Has a hilly area by center field for kids to roll down and play. Great idea because baseball cannot hold the attention of toddlers.

It's returned to its original name - Hoover Metropolitan Stadium - since the Birmingham Barons moved to their new ballpark in downtown Birmingham (and took their title sponsor, Regions, with them). Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, once just a minor-league baseball stadium, now hosts a variety of events from baseball (including the Southeastern Conference tournament) to fastpitch softball to high school football... Big baseball fan. Park is really nice and well managed. Part of a revitalization effort in downtown Birmingham. Area is booming. Team is good. Thirsty Thursday's are great for young professionals. Go out and take in a game!

This is a very nice ball park, fun family activities and excellent amenities. Convenient parking. Food is a little pricey like most ballparks and stadiums.

This was my second trip to the SEC tournament. Regions and the Hoover PD do an excellent job of moving traffic in and out. Parking is easy.Bathrooms are always clean and supplied. Food is reasonably priced. It's a great venue for baseball. We will be back again.

Nice field, food, location and views of downtown Birmingham. Go to Good People Brewing across the street when the game is over!

This is a new minor league ballpark. I was skeptical, because I feared the area of town just a little. However, it is close to the UAB medical center; and police do patrol the areas North and west. The facility is very nice. The conessions are typical and a little pricey, although the have Thirsty Thursday reduced priced beverages; hot... More

Has to be one of the best minor league ball parks in the country. Perfect setting with the city of Birmingham in the background.
