Perfect place to stroll, take photos and meditate. It does not matter how young or old you are this city oasis will be a place you will want to go again and again. There is no entry fee and plenty of parking.

This is a very beautiful area. A lot of people get there prom pictures made there. I have only been in spring and early summer. I would love to go in the fall sometime.

Went to the gardens for a business function and had the honor of meeting this wonderful couple in person. What a tremendous gift they have bestowed upon Hoover! I remember going to Aldridges nursery in Homewood when I was a child and I shared that with them. These gardens are a beautiful gem nestled here in the center of the... More

A nice place to take a walk. The flowers are beautiful. While there I saw a wedding taking place. Setup was beautiful. When I get married I may use this venue.

Great - free - urban gardens, featuring the signature Aldridge Snowflake Hydrangea, and other seasonal favorites like azaleas and camellias - many perennials, too. A nice place to take a walk on their paths, have a picnic, or just sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Nice garden tucked away in busy Hoover. I prefer the botanical gardens in Birmingham, as it's much bigger and free. Aldridge Gardens is worth checking out, many photo ops.

Very nice trails. One dirt trail loops around the lake (0.51 m.), other shorter paved trails are closer to the gift shop and meander in and out of the sculptures and flowers in the garden. The nice lady in the gift shop told us that we had just missed Mr. Aldridge (the man responsible for building the gardens and trails)... More

What a lovely way to spend some time enjoying the outdoors. The grounds are lovely. The lake has numerous ducks, geese, fish, turtles and you can purchase small bags of feed for 25 cents, so the kiddos can feed them. Luckily we were there when the geese had their babies and were SO cute. It is open to the public... More

Attended a wedding here but very impressed with the design and many little surprises throughout the gardens. Free to public, please leave a token of appreciation at departure.
