The pier was really nice. It was $2 per person to walk around on it, but the views are worth it. The pelicans are used to the people. They just kind of hang out. There were jellyfish swimming around. We saw dolphins. There were a lot of people fishing. Several families were on the beach having their photos taken.

If you get a chance to visit here you have to meet "Sam" the resident pelican. He is a really cool dude and seems to enjoy hanging out with the visitors. The pier is very clean and it's a lot of fun just watching the fishermen and enjoying the sea life around the pier itself.

You can visit the pier for just 2 dollars or go fishing for the day for $8.00. Great views from the pier for picture taking too.

Online said $8 for a fishing license and the sign said $8 for "Pier Fishing", but it was actually closer to $20 per person for the day!!!! We were three adults with one adult male, a 15 yr-old & 7 yr-old who wanted to try "ocean fishing" during our visit and they had their own fishing poles. When we arrived... More

This fishing pier is a first class place. You can buy your liscense and bait at the entry. They have food to buy and a small restaurant on the pier. There are nice bathrooms along the pier with easy places to change into your swimsuits and places to clean your fish, park on a bench and watch the others fish.... More

Great Pier for Fishing & looking out into the Gulf Water! Extremely clean. Very Friendly Staff. Not too many hotels nearby. None that are walkable.

Most expensive pier I have ever been on. Just wanted to walk out and look it over but had to pay. This is the biggest disappointment in Orange Beach.

This attraction costs $2 per person unless you are fishing. Then it is $8 plus your fishing license. You can buy a saltwater license on the computer in the bait shop. It is a long pier with restrooms and a snack shop. You can look into the water and see stingrays, fish, and sharks. This lets you realize how close... More

You pay $2.00 to see tons of marine-life. We saw a lot of sharks, jellyfish, and a couple stingrays. Someone caught a kingfish while we were there and that was pretty exciting. Most of the best views of the sharks is just off the beach which is a little scary, but they don't let anyone swim within 100 feet of... More
