Was pretty seen jelly fish and a sting ray. Wish it was free though. Too many fishermen and not enough room to actually view the water.

We visited last week. They have a great set up and it was wonderful to watch others catch such huge fish. My kids and I all really enjoyed it.And the food on the pier is great also.

First, the rating is average because we did not fish and also I think it is poor that you have to pay to enter just to walk to the end. I'd recommend a donation box like other nature parks have. It is definitely a fishing pier which is great. Loved seeing all the gear and folks out there. BE AWARE... More

Very neat to see the locals and tourists fish off of the pier. The atmosphere was high energy as all ages participated. Cost is $3 a day for adults. Try to go on an overcast day as it is very warm in the sun with little shade.

My husband and kids went there fishing, the staff was great, very helpful, and friendly. Gret place to see sea life as well. Sharks, sea turtles and big fish are plentiful. Sun set was amazing and we took pictures at dusk by the pier..they are wonderful.

We've been watching these fishermen pull in 20+ lb. redfish and amberjack for over an hour. Lots of fun to hear the crowd erupt when one is finally landed. Cheap too...

The Gulf State Fishing pier offers an excellent fishing opportunity for those who do not have a boat available. It is an awesome facility with restrooms and fish cleaning facilities about midway point on the pier. Benches are available all along the way. There is a charge for entry. I have seen many fish caught there, some very large. Unfortunately,... More

We walked as far as we could before the gate to pay. There are some informative plaques on the way up. Restrooms and free parking, otherwise it is not really worth the stop. I have never seen piers that you have to pay to go on before.

We went for the view and saw lots of people fishing from the pier. Y=This was more of a "working pier" than I had been to before. It was interesting to watch them. We were there as it was getting dark and I wish we'd gone in the daytime. The staff was not friendly or helpful and there is a... More
