Restrooms, rentals..what else can you ask for? Same as all fishing piers, you pay, you fish, you catch!

I went to the pier in June to fish and loved it so much I traveled back from Birmingham Alabama 2 weeks later just to fish from the pier. I fished for 3 days all day. I'm ready to go back. The pier is Great!

I've taken my kids here twice and they always enjoy seeing ocean life. The first time we saw several sting rays and jelly fish from the pier. This last visit we couldn't see much but did see several dolphins. It does however cost I believe $3 which is price for the little time that is spent looking for sea life.

We went 4 different occasions during our week in Gulf Shores and each time was better than the last. From the website and other reviews, we had planned on renting salt water fishing gear at the pier, however, we were unpleasantly surprised to find that at 8:30am on a Monday morning, all the equipment was already gone. At first, I... More

To fork out some money to access this pier. It is rather large with plenty of space to do some fishing, but it comes at a cost.

We visited at night, and boy was it different. Not in a bad way at all. The lighting(HPS) just makes everything a little surreal. But take one look over the side and you will be amazed at the millions of little fishes swimming at the surface, throughout the length of the pier, which is super long. Lots of people were... More

I am not really sure a bad thing you could say about this pier. It takes you out a little into the ocean. You can fish off of it. You can sit or stand. There are places to eat or drink. I didn't really like the idea of paying for it, but I knew we had too because I had... More

It cost $2 to walk the pier. It was neat to look off and see all the fish swimming and see what kind of equipment the salt water fisherman use. It stinks that you can not go past a red line at the very end. It is fisherman only for safety reasons.

When we arrived there was only one fishing pole available to rent. I n my opinion after renting a pole and buying bait we shouldn't have to pay $8.00 a person to fish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Met a lot of friendly people on the pier.
