Beach Pavillion

we spent time both on the beach and sitting under the Pavillion when it rained for a short while. We enjoyed the day

We did a trail here during our stay on the coast. We did the Rosemary Dune trail. The trail map says it is 1.75 miles long, but it's actually 2 miles - even the markers say so on the trail. About 1.25 miles into the trail ( from the trailhead) is a place where you can often see resident Alligators.... More

Reasonably priced fishing gear rental for four hours of fun catching and releasing fish at the pier. Was a very nice time :)

Really great walking trails, paved. Great for biking and also segway tours. Check in with the ranger station.. Some of the trails have alot of shade which was very nice at near 90 degrees.

Perfect beach access if you're on a day trip or staying in a property off the beach. Parking is $6 for all day and the pavilion has shelter, bathrooms, showers ad picnic tables. Beautiful stretch of beach!

My boyfriend and I, and two other couples stayed in cabin (lakeside cottage) #32 and let me just tell you, it was AMAZING! VERY spacious, full sized beds and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Everything was SPOTLESS, dishes were provided, everything worked great. Our room even had its own private screened-in porch. Less than 5 minute drive to the... More

This is just a beautiful place. Right on the beach between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Just a great place to go to the beach.

This place moved up to #1 on my list! The sites were big and divided by trees/bushes for some privacy. The bathrooms were the best of any I've seen- air conditioned and nice showers that were clean and spacious with the extra room to change clothes. The pool was really nice and rivals some resort pools we've been to. The... More

This was our first time staying here at Gulf State Park. We will definitely be back. Beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Campground was clean with spacious sites, however many of them in full sun. Don't like that you can't request a site when making reservations. Enjoyed the many paved bike trails. Biggest draw back was the sand fleas were soooo... More

My wife and I spent two nights here on the way to the Gulf Coast. We stayed in lake cabin # 9 which was well maintained and cared for. The bathroom and kitchen areas were some of the best I have seen in a state park cabin. We had a nice view of the lake and enjoyed the Purple Martins... More
