Love the atmosphere. Bought tee shirts at the pier, sat on the pier and watched the ocean, swimmers, beach, birds, fish.. looked for sharks and dolphins. Just a great place to relax and Enjoy.

The Gulf State Park course is a lot of fun to play. It requires you to use every club in your bag, and it's challenging but fair. It is very reasonably priced and the layout is idea for the beginner to intermediate golfer.

Spent an afternoon here and were impressed by the quality of the sand, and restrooms. Kids enjoyed playing in the sand. For anyone comparing GS vs Pensacola, water is not as clear as Pensacola, but white sand is just as good. This is a closer get away for midwestern visitors without the congestion that occurs in Florida Panhandle. Great family... More

Booked a week at Gulf State Park in our pop-up camper for spring break. The park entrance/check in is very easy to navigate and the employees were knowledgeable and efficient. Our site was very spacious, plenty of room between campsites. There are very few trees; it's not a wooded area, but more a beach environment, with areas of sand, scrub... More

We went for the Baumhauer's Shrimpfest. Fortunately for us, we got there early, as the line got REALLY long. The location was great, and the food was awesome for the price. For $3 / person, we got two beverages, sausage, bbq, corn on the cob, boiled potato, bread, shrimp, gumbo, and mango frozen dessert. What a deal! If it weren't... More

Well appointed and with signs to see wildlife. Shaded and pleasant walk. Lots of geocaches to get you to the area spots of interest in a fun way.

Not all of the beaches had a bathroom or lifeguard but other wise it was wonderful. Beautiful view, clean sand, nice parking.

One of the least mentioned places at Gulf State Park is the Nature Center. It is located at the RV Camp, but for a $1.00 per car load you can visit the Nature center and see our local wildlife . Kids love it and Adults will enjoy the visit also.

This is a fantastic park. Well run, clean, pleasant. This is the second time that we have been here. Once for 5 days and now for 1 month. Plan to return for 2 months in the future. Nice sites and a great place for walking and bike riding or just sitting on the beach. This park has many places where... More
