Great park, clean, close to amenities, on the shore, large sites. Will definitely return. 10 minutes and you are in Florida. Lots of good restaurants.

We have camped at Gulf State Park Campground and enjoyed the entire park with our family over the last 6 years many times. We lived there last summer with 7 weeks total spent in June and July. All of the facilities are well kept and nice! It is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have ever been to and... More

Oceanfront, a long a Fishing Pier, Cabins on a lake, a reasonable golf course, big campgrounds, Miles of Outstanding paved bike paths. Good hotels and restaurants in town. Doesn't get much better.

Bought a camper and took off to Gulf State Park for a few days, very easy check in, very organized. I asked for a shady sight and was given what we thought was one of the best sites of the entire campground. Perfectly shaded site (not many there) and really enjoyed the location of the site which was not on... More

We have camped at Gulf State Park for a number of years. We live close enough to go for our usual 2 or 3 nights but recently spent 6 nights. We so enjoyed the opportunity to take in a little more. The campground stays close to full but facilities are well maintained. It has a great family atmosphere, a great... More

My family of 5 (3 girls 7,5,3) just got back from spending a week at Gulf State Park in our travel trailer. We booked in February for a June trip but I don't think you would have to book that far in advance. We stayed in the only circle/dead end area in the park which the staff on the reservations... More

Gulf State Park has beautiful beaches, camping available and a great deal of family friendly events. There is a Pavillion as well. Families return here annually for decades.

We can't wait to come back! The campground was clean and the air conditioned bathrooms were well kept! We enjoyed the beach area by the pavilion. Everyone had a smile and was friendly!

Not a lot of shade but everything else was perfect. Clean bath facilities and always had hot water. They had a group from Louisville, KY offering a VBS for the kids all week which my kids really enjoyed. The kids putting it on were awesome and had a lot of crafts and games for the kids to do. The Nature... More

Our family of 4 just spent a week staying here in our camper. I have to say that this was one of the best state parks we've stayed at and better than any of the privately owned RV camps we've stayed. Incredible pool, huge well kept bath houses and very affordable rates - so much so that we thought it... More
