We were there over the dreaded College Spring Break but there weren't a bunch of drunk college kids there. The beach was clean and the water was beautiful. There was no trash anywhere. I highly recommend it.

We visited the campground to do a little geocaching. We did not camp but toured the grounds looking for caches. There are a couple of nature trails. Everything is clean and well kept and no trashy sites. The cost to drive through and walk the trails is $3. I am not sure what it costs to camp. If you are... More

We were extremely impressed with this park. It has a lot to offer. We used the hiking trails and found them very nice, the beach area was clean, and the fishing pier was well maintained. This is a must see while in Gulf Shores.

We stayed on a primitive camping site for two nights. The campground was clean and quiet. This also gives you free parking at the beach. The beach area is kept clean with plenty of restrooms.

We were "day" visitors to this park. The Nature Center was exceptional and we really enjoyed the walking paths through many areas of the park. The paths were well maintained and had benches in many places. The fee for visitors is $2 per person. Walking access to the beach is free.

The beach was on the Gulf and the entrance to the Intracoastal Waterway; this gave the visitor the chance to play in the waves or calm waters. Another great place to find shells. The sand was soft and easy on the feet. There were there three places we found to shower off sand.

The beaches and fishing pier were very nice. We we're charged more than the advertised price for the one time pass and were not given a receipt. I don't think they should charge more until the sign has been changed.

The park includes great paved hiking trails, boardwalks down to the beach, and a great pier. We spent a couple hours enjoying the sea and sun and found a lot of shells.

We rented a tandem bike and rode all of the trails. Also highly recommend the nature hike. The naturalists were very knowledgeable. This is a wonderful park.

This park is huge and has something to offer for everyone. We explored the park on bikes and found rental sites that included cabins, cottages and an RV park. The RV park had a pool and a community room with planed activities for their guests. The golf course has it's loyal fans. Our visit was in winter months but it... More
