We love this bike /walking trail and ride it as many times as we can when visiting Gulf Shores. Its so much cooler than riding on the beach road. Its paved with no motorized vehicles allowed. There's lots of shade from the trees and beautiful scenery native to this area. There are benches and photo opportunities for those interested all... More

Gulf State Park is a series of parks located in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach (AL). If the two miles of snowy white beaches along the Gulf of Mexico isn’t enough water for you, the park area includes access to a 900 acre lake. From picnic areas to fishing piers and cottages to tennis courts, Gulf State Park is a... More

We'll be stopping here again as we go back & forth from AR to FL. Large sites w/full hookups, well maintained facilities, particularly friendly staff, and a great value for the perfect location near everything you need or want. Loved that they had miles & miles of paved trails for biking!!!

Alabama Gulf at its best. Golfers love the course. Fishermen and the young alike enjoy the campo and lakes. The camp grounds are excellent with a huge pool and boat rentals for the lake. I have been coming back since I was three years old.

We are definitely returning to Gulf State Park when we are in the area... great for tent camping or RV. Electricity and water at each campsite. Beautiful swimming pool. Lots of programs that we could have taken part in, if we wanted. Free parking at the beach pavilion for campers. Absolutely wonderful bike trails!

Perfect late night beach walk, white sand and emerald green water!!! Beautiful coastal views, warm water and pier that cost $3 per person to walk. Fishing was available too.

The park itself has a really pretty beach area. The main attraction tho is the fishing pier where you can rent poles and buy bait and try to catch something. At only $10 per pole, it's really not that expensive and it was something my kids have never done before. My son even caught a fish within the first 10... More
