Had family stay in the RV park and we visited pretty much every day. If you aren't staying there's it's a dollar to enter. The beach access was clean and well maintained. Pool was nice. Only issue we had was the trash pick up was rather slow an the dumpsters filled quickly and the stench was overwhelming.

As stated in other posts gulf state park does allow one tent and one RV per site. However if you are the tent person dont show up and try and check in without the RV. They will not even allow you through the gate. They do not tell you this when reserving, and it is no where on the website,... More

I had a group of friends that were staying at Gulf State Park. They were all dragging large campers, but A. I don't own one And B. My final destination was Florida and I didn't want the hassle of towing anything for the remainder of the trip. Now, the park allows tents to share campsites with campers for an added... More

This is a great place to visit. My time was kind of ruined because I visited when the wind was blowing very hard and the sand was stinging my face. Would like to go back on a better day.

We stayed here with my inlaws. The park is fantastic! There is a great pool, great trails, clean, quiet, beautiful, and convenient. The nature center was fun to pop into and see the reptiles inside. Close to the beach and everywhere you want to be when you are visiting the beach! Definitely will be back.

Great park, clean, close to amenities, on the shore, large sites. Will definitely return. 10 minutes and you are in Florida. Lots of good restaurants.

We have camped at Gulf State Park Campground and enjoyed the entire park with our family over the last 6 years many times. We lived there last summer with 7 weeks total spent in June and July. All of the facilities are well kept and nice! It is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have ever been to and... More

Oceanfront, a long a Fishing Pier, Cabins on a lake, a reasonable golf course, big campgrounds, Miles of Outstanding paved bike paths. Good hotels and restaurants in town. Doesn't get much better.

Bought a camper and took off to Gulf State Park for a few days, very easy check in, very organized. I asked for a shady sight and was given what we thought was one of the best sites of the entire campground. Perfectly shaded site (not many there) and really enjoyed the location of the site which was not on... More

We have camped at Gulf State Park for a number of years. We live close enough to go for our usual 2 or 3 nights but recently spent 6 nights. We so enjoyed the opportunity to take in a little more. The campground stays close to full but facilities are well maintained. It has a great family atmosphere, a great... More
