This park is great! The employees are very wonderful and very customer oriented. The place is very clean. The restroom facilities are air conditioned. The only problems we had were the heat and jellyfish. I didn't realize there were jellyfish in this part of the ocean so that's my fault. We ended up in the lake. Other than the heat... More

Great campground. Almost 500 campsites, all of which are very spaced out. You don't feel on top of your neighbors. Bathhouses are air conditioned and were always clean. It seemed like there were a good amount of them as well. 11 I believe. The pool is very nice and clean as well and was cold enough to be refreshing in... More

We went to the park unfortunately on a rainy weekend. We were able to enjoy a hike on one of the trails. We were told that all trails are paved. You can rent bicycles at the camp store to ride the trails if you desire or bring your own. There is a zip line, fishing piers, and you can also... More

We spent 3 nights primitive camping at the park. We were in campsite 509 and it was a fairly short walk to the bathroom facilities. The site was large enough for our two tents and came equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Though it stormed the entire time we camped and we were drenched we had a fabulous... More

BEAUTIFUL park! The facilities and beaches are well maintained and clean. The best of the gulf! HUGE parking lot accommodates crowds without feeling crowded.

The Pier was so beautiful. It went out seemingly for miles. The views from the Pier were perfect. We visited the beach area and it was so beautiful. Sand dunes, sea grass and better waves than the beach at the condo where we stayed. There is a food shop and shaved ice stand. Excellent!

We rented bikes and tried the 15 miles of trails. It was peaceful and scenic, and in several places down right beautiful. There were marshes, meadows, trees covered with spanish moss, and even a small alligator on the trail (and a sign that said please don't feed the alligators). A great family activity that left all of us hungry and... More

We just spent 2 days camping here with our pop-up. We only explored the campground, but the park was HUGE. The things we didnt like so much: The sites were just okay. They were small and completely open, no privacy, and no shade. There was a stand up grill but no fire pits at any sites. We had little gnats... More

Park is a nice park. Liked like they had camping and cabins if you wanted to stay. Also has a lake. Park pretty much separates gulf shore and orange beach
