I know that Gadsden is a small place but when my friend and I went to visit this museum we found very little. There was a local artist exhibition on the first floor. No guide was there to tell you where to go next within the two story building. It turned out the main part was upstairs tucked away and... More

Beautiful paintings...a beautiful building which houses them...a history of Gadsden in photographs, a history of Emma Sansom...had a great afternoon and learned a lot...this is a must - see!!!

Great museum for the area. Friendly staff in a clean environment. Mixed with art the museum has moved forward in many way in the past few years even adding a complete upstairs showroom. In the center of downtown it worth your time to visit. It's free!

This is the smallest ' museum' I've ever been to. When I went, it had an interesting general history of Alabama timeline with lots of artifacts. They do seem to love their quilt shows here.
