Nicely rebuilt since Hurricane Katrina but it could still could use some additional work. Long pier out into Mobile Bay. Appears to offer a lot for fishermen and for people to simply walk out to the end. Is is fairly narrow and has a concrete floor unlike piers on the East Coast. It also has a small marina which looked... More

My husband and I enjoyed an evening walk out on the pier. There was plenty of activity from people walking and enjoying the night air to others fishing and cast netting in the area. We enjoyed looking at the water and even saw shrimp moving while fish chased dinner! Everyone was friendly and it was a good family atmosphere.

This is a long pier out over Mobile Bay that offers ample opportunities for fishermen. It also has a new restaurant on the pier (Shux on the Pier). This is a great place to take a sunset stroll if you aren't a fisherman. Great views and then you can stop for a bite of dinner at Shux.

Beautiful view and great place to picnic or relax with a good book. Go during the week when it is not crowded and you can walk along the water or bike along a trail to Point Clear or farther

I was really excited about the new restaurant on the pier because it was part of the Gambino's well I didn't like my food at all. It was just a grilled chicken salad, how can you mess that up. Well burn the chicken. I wasn't to impressed about the service. If I am going to eat at Gambinos that will... More

Nice, long pier extending into Mobile Bay. THE place for beautiful, memorable sunsets. Can fish, or just gaze at the scenery.

Lovely walk down the pier. Plenty of parking. Excellent spot for watching the sunset. Don't forget to check out Shux for excellent oysters on the half shell and gumbo. The best part of the pier is being able to watch the Pelicans. They are simply beautiful.

We visited early on a Sunday morning, and about half the parking places were taken. We enjoyed walking to the end and appreciated the shady spots to rest along the way. Locals were greeting each therm picking up trash, and pulling in shrimp in their nets on the waters edge. Good place to see pelicans, too! There is a small... More

Everything about the pier is wonderful..the water, the roses, the small town feeling, the duck pond..everything about this town feels like small town America.
