Fairhope may not have pearly white shores like some of the cities on the Gulf, but it has gobs more charm! I thought the Municipal Pier was absolutely delightful. It was too too cold when we visited in February to spend much time on the little beach adjacent to the pier; but we did snap a few pictures before hurrying... More

It was bitterly cold in mid-February, due to a cold front and very strong winds. The view of Mobile across the bay was very nice, as was the water. There were signs proclaiming the pier to be Fairhope's Town Square, and I can see why. The beautifully manicured park surrounding the pier looked to be an excellent picnic spot. The... More

This location is one that I visit at least weekly. The scenic duckpond, public beach, and pier are routinely included in my morning runs. Remarkable location to view the sunset from either the pier, the fountain, or the park. Quaint area with family friendly accommodations. Pets are always welcome. We often take family picnics in the park and enjoy feeding... More

I like this pier. It was quiet , with a nice view. The beach area is pleasant and the restaurant, The Yardarm, is a good extra. The duck pond is a fun place to sit and read, picnic or feed the ducks. It has a nice rose garden as well. The steep walk up the hillside leads to another lovely... More

Nice walk out and back. Restaurant on the pier was closed in February. Beware that all stores and most restaurants in Fairhope are closed on Sunday's.

We visited the municipal pier in early February. The restrooms on the pier wee closd for remodeling and the restaurant on the pier was also closed. It was still nice to walk out on it.

This provided a nice stroll, stunning water, and friendly folks. Not sure what was offered in immediate area. Bring your camera!

The Pier is a lovely spot to enjoy the sun and relax. We walked to the end looking for wildlife and just revelled in the breeze blowing off the bay. Parking is free and its a nice place to take a walk.

a great place to interface with the bay and marine life. I got to get so close to a pelican that I could touch him.
