This pier provides a great place to enjoy Mobile Bay views. The best time to visit is after a rain when the air is so clear that it seems like you could reach out and touch the City of Mobile on the west shore of the Bay. There is a marina here and a restaurant (open seasonally). There is a... More

It was a very hot day and about halfway there is a shade spot and one down at the end of the pier. Very lang walk for little ones with little legs. However on the day my three year old and I walked out there were some dolphin swimming out in the bay that we got to see. The Three... More

Arriving in Fairhpe all roads lead to the pier. Very relaxed with a great mix of tourists enjoying an evening stroll, watching the world go by, locals fishing off the pier and a great place to watch the sunset or a tropical storm coimng from round the bay. There is also a great municipal beach 2 minutes walk away to... More

The municipal pier has a pretty area with benches and landscaping. On a nice day/night, it is a pretty area to sit on the water or walk along the trails.

Beautiful park and fountain take you to entrance onto pier. Ample parking, wide pier, nice restaurant on pier (The Yardarm I think is the name). Witness fishermen, young and old having fun pulling in a fish or crab, tec.

Very nice and tranquil. Safe also. I did not dislike anything. The fountain and roses were well kept. Very clean place.

Beautiful Rose Garden and great scenery. A must visit! Fishing or just taking a walk is ideal. One of the nicest places on the Eastern Shore.

I love taking a long walk along the pier when the weather is just perfect! It's so relaxing to watch the sun rise or set with the sound of the waves hitting the beach and pier. I enjoy taking family and friends there for fishing, walking, and to enjoy the many views.

The pier in and of itself is lovely. It is a decent length; although I hear the original that burned was much longer in length. The people wandering around the pier are friendly. It is a pleasure to meet new people, enjoy pleasant conversations and see what the catches of the day are. However, the bathroom facilities are deplorable. They... More
