A walk down Fairhope Ave. from downtown to the bay is a must when visiting Fairhope, and come back one block over to the north to see classic craftsman style homes. Spring is the best time to tiptoe through the tulips and rose garden near the Fairhope pier which will be as far as you go or be in the... More

We traveled from Orange Beach to Fairhope specifically to eat at Panini Pete's. The downtown area is laid out very well. There are several shops, including many antique stores. We visited on a Saturday, mid-day. There were a lot people out and about, even though the weather was sort of chilly. Lots to see and do here. And it's nice... More

Great hidden gem on the Alabama coast. Beautiful flowers line the streets and at Christmas time they're adorned with awesome Christmas lights. Lots of small shops to check our as well as an Irish pub. Awesome chocolate and candy shop. Place has an artsy feel to it. Great place to spend the day just strolling around.

The minute we pulled into town, I knew I would fall in love with this place. It's a gem! Between the beautiful flowers planted everywhere, the abundant shops and art galleries it was a was a day trip nirvana. I would definitely go back again if I ever traveling to the area again.

The shops are very nice and I go downtown a lot. Near Christmas time they light all of the smaller trees up and it is quite beautiful! It is a great place to walk on the weekends!

This was the 2nd year in a row that we went to the Art Fair in Fairhope. This is one of the best Art Fairs that I have been to in the country, and it is truly art, only a couple of booths were "granny crafts". We purchased some beautiful pieces of glass for our home from vendors from across... More

This is a beautiful little tourist town, with flowers bursting forth in baskets hanging from lamp posts, lining the streets, and even in areas along the streets that are usually reserved for parking. Be forewarned that there isn't much open in Fairhope on Sundays, and they close fairly early in the evening. We were in Fairhope twice during our trip... More

We are snowbirds who go to Gulf Shores in February and we found this lovely city thanks to tripadvisor. It was a short drive and the sight of beautiful spring flowers in February was truly a sight for sore eyes. The museum was an interesting break in our walk. There were so many good places to eat it wasnt easy... More

The streets are so charming. The downtown shopping and the restaurants were wonderful. We loved looking at all the art work and the architect of the old buildings.
