If you are visiting Fairhope during a busy time, park in the free public parking garage which is directly behind the main downtown street of Fairhope Ave. Enter from Church St. Make sure you visit the Eastern Shore Art Center and Fairhope Museum of History, both are free and offer a great experience of our beautiful community! And coming soon... More

This was my second visit and I loved it more than the first time. All your senses get tickled when visiting this quaint water side community. It's clean, beautiful flowers on every street corner, a nod to European Architecture with beautiful balconies & ironwork, a mix of shopping from art, clothing, interiors and wonderful food. Most stores have the Downtown... More

We spent a cloudy day in Fairhope as a reprieve from the beach. This is a wonderful alternative to all the touristy options around Gulf Shores. The quaint and charming downtown offers a variety of shops and restaurants. There was one toy shop that kept the kids busy for a bit. Mostly aimed at women though, there were lots of... More

We shopped until we dropped. We actually bought several Christmas gifts, even though it was August. They have a Christmas Shop inside the drug store that carries a large selection of beautiful decorations and ornaments. We also enjoyed the Fly Shop!

Great variety of charming shops, no chains. For food, R Bistro is the place. Be sure to get the downtown visitor's guide for a map ... downtown spreads out in a few directions.

Fairhope has a charming Main Street with a wonderful variety of shops. There truly is something for everyone. My out of town guests have enjoyed this picturesque area and I plan to return.

My hometown. Beautiful year round. There are shops for everyone in the family. Wonderful flowers along the streets. Lights in the trees in the evenings. Beach front walking pier. Designer fashions and Toy shop for kids. The restaurants range from fine dining to Pizza shops. Love Love Love living in my hometown of Fairhope.

For a fun ladies day explore the various shops along Fairhope Ave and the surrounding 2 or 3 blocks. There are high-end shops selling designer fashion, as well as more affordable but still upscale shops. For lunch try R Bistro, Pinzonnes, or if you are in the mood for something different and delicious, try a couple of the tacos at... More

Love shopping in Fairhope. Seems all my favorites are on Fairhope Avenue. Even lunch at Pinzone's right on Fairhope Avenue was great. Look forward to this trip every year.

I love Fairhope. Probably my most favorite place in the US. The main avenue is filled with awesome boutiques and delicious restaurants. We had the good fortune to be here during a Mardi Gras parade and it was something I will never forget. What an awesome place!
