We make frequent trips from Pensacola to Fairhope, just for fun. We had a mad idea at one point that we'd like to live there, only to find out that a lot of other people feel the same way and they all have a great deal more money than we do. Oh well, it's not that far away and when... More

I was in Fairhope for work, but stayed right in Downtown. I was there on a Monday and in an off time period, so it was pretty empty, but it was worth my time. There are many stores to pop into and casually browse; Pages and Palette, Christmas 'Round the Corner and so on. Great little hidden gem on the... More

Our spouses tour took us by bus to Fairhope. What a wonderful and charming town just brimming with southern charm and incredible shops. If you can't find it here, you probably can't find it. In every single store we went into, we were greeted like we were long lost family. What a fun day we had! We toured the town... More

This was my second visit and I loved it more than the first time. All your senses get tickled when visiting this quaint water side community. It's clean, beautiful flowers on every street corner, a nod to European Architecture with beautiful balconies & ironwork, a mix of shopping from art, clothing, interiors and wonderful food. Most stores have the Downtown... More

We spent a cloudy day in Fairhope as a reprieve from the beach. This is a wonderful alternative to all the touristy options around Gulf Shores. The quaint and charming downtown offers a variety of shops and restaurants. There was one toy shop that kept the kids busy for a bit. Mostly aimed at women though, there were lots of... More

We shopped until we dropped. We actually bought several Christmas gifts, even though it was August. They have a Christmas Shop inside the drug store that carries a large selection of beautiful decorations and ornaments. We also enjoyed the Fly Shop!

Great variety of charming shops, no chains. For food, R Bistro is the place. Be sure to get the downtown visitor's guide for a map ... downtown spreads out in a few directions.

Fairhope has a charming Main Street with a wonderful variety of shops. There truly is something for everyone. My out of town guests have enjoyed this picturesque area and I plan to return.

My hometown. Beautiful year round. There are shops for everyone in the family. Wonderful flowers along the streets. Lights in the trees in the evenings. Beach front walking pier. Designer fashions and Toy shop for kids. The restaurants range from fine dining to Pizza shops. Love Love Love living in my hometown of Fairhope.
