Fairhope is a quaint artsy community with some very nice shops. This small town is always having something going on. it over looks Mobile Bay. They have a very nice family friendly Madri Gras parade.

We planned to spend the day downtown Fairhope but found shop owners to be a bit stuffy and very unfriendly to small children.

I guess it's a reminder that we're in the South, but don't expect any stores to be open or anyone to be on the street on a Sunday morning.

The Streets a lined with beautiful flowers and the parking is free. This a relaxing community that you should not pass up a trip along Interstate 10. Located on the eastern shore is this delightful town with shopping that will make the stop worthwhile. Men can shop but the women have a plethora of great boutiques. Take men and sit... More

This area of Fairhope was so fun and a great way to spend an afternoon. It was a great mix of different kinds of stores with lots of great art and some unique gift items. I loved the Christmas store and a couple of the antique stores. The merchants were all very friendly!

We have enjoyed visiting Fairhope for many reasons. One of the things we always do is spend several hours wandering in and out of the many shops and finding a new place to eat. The streets are always clean and the flowers are lovely. It is nice that the area is not being taken over by chains. We always find... More

Fairhope is a unique small town across Mobile Bay from the city ofMobile where lots of artists reside. The town has an interesting and rich history, which is compiled and displayed in its free museum just off Fairhope Ave.

Fairhope always keeps the streets and sidewalks looking so nice with all of the beautiful flowers. I love the small town feel of this bay side city.

The shops are all real neat so much variety and so much to see. Don't miss strolling all of it. Didn't dislike a thing.

We drove the scenic highway 98 route thru Fairhope Alabama. What a beautiful drive. So many beautiful cottages and homes right on the beach. We stopped at the park where there was public parking and walked out to the beach and pier. It was late afternoon and we had the beach to ourselves.
