If you find yourself in Decatur, Al on a Memorial Day Weekend stop by Point Mallard and enjoy the largest Hot Air Balloon Festival in Alabama. This two day event is a not to be missed affair and it's accompanied by an antique car show that is sure to impress. Best of all it's free. Not in Decatur on Memorial... More

This waterpark is okay. Through the week, it is half price, so that makes it even better. It is very spread out, so if you want to go one place, you have to get all your things together and carry them around...people will move your things. If you are taking small children, go during the week. It is very crowded... More

It's a fun time for the family. I've been to bigger and better, but for the price and location, this is great. We take a cooler lunch because the food at the park is a bit pricey. A great time for the whole family!!!

If you're looking for a huge White Water park then head to Atlanta and pay 3x the price. If you are looking for a relaxing day at the pool great! I've loved this park since I was a child. It's close, clean, and has plenty of fun things to choose from. My kids love it and I feel comfortable bringing... More

This was a very fun waterpark. There is a lot to do. There are also some very fun water slides. If you are looking for a fun water park near Huntsville, I think you will find it here.

Fantastic water park for families and kids on the Tennessee River with beach into a park with zero entry wave pool, lazy river, diving platforms and boards, multiple water slides and great young child areas. Great food and plenty of room for everyone, great shaded areas and picnic spots.

Nice park. Many of the residents are long term, but the park is well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were older but clean and in good shape.

Great fun for the entire family. Super wave pool. Ample sitting for those who just want to watch the action. Spend all day. Check the Chamber of Commerce to see if there are any coupons around.

A friend and I decided to play golf at Point Mallard as it had been 15 or more years since I last played there. Turns out they had a special running and $25 for cart , greens fee and a lunch was a great deal. It was open play but they got us out on the tee box in 15... More

If it's summer and you like waterparks, if they haven't got too many buses bringing in the masses from Birmingham, the Point Mallard Waterpark is a great day spent! Wave pool! Olympic pool! Kiddie Splash pool area! Concessions! Lazy River! Water flumes! Clean! Really a diamond for the city of Decatur. Decatur Parks and Rec are a highlight of this... More
