It is amazing! It is really nice and beautiful. It surprised me to have something so nice in Brazil at this level. The location is Very well organized and a lot of art. Peaces are expensive but really nice. A little bit far away from downtown.

An enchanting place- I wish I could have stayed longer. His sculptures are amazing and his paintings and drawings are equally wonderful. One of my new favourite artists!

So there is a dining cafe which is average but could serve as a good starting or ending point.. The place itself is amazing.. his imagination is wild... expressions created in ceramic without a face, with a face, with body, you name it.... dreamworld of animals and humans all combined... certainly unusual and extra-ordinary...! I could easily spend hours...

This is a magic place that you must see. It is not easy to get there but you will not regret. It a beautiful space to appreciate how time passes in out life. Walk without hurry and enjoy the great proverbs that you can find in the sculptures.

Here is how I define the food at Brennand's Cafe: high cuisine using simple ingredients. My plate had two "escondidinhos de carne de sol", one made with cassava ("macaxeira") and the other with pumpkin wrapped in a collard green leaf (couve). For desert, their "cartola" (a common northeastern desert made with banana, partially melted butter cheese "queijo manteiga", cinnamon and... More

We didn't quite know what to expect but as it was a rainy day, we thought we would give it a whirl and see what it was all about. WOW!! Wouldn't have missed it for the world. I want some of these sculptures for my garden. If you like art and can look beyond the routine, you will get a... More

The Brennand institute is a sort of temple created by one of Brasil's greatest ceramic artists. It is a great indoor/outdoor space that combines his ceramic work with nature in a very surreal way that compliments the environment very fittingly. It feels like walking into abandoned ruins, however it is the consummation of the life's work of one man and... More

It's a bit far from the center of Recife but it is totally worth a visit. There are nice sculptures all over the gardens. The ambient is very calm and peaceful. The restaurant is very good, try the greensalad and a mixed juice!

Gorgeous parklike setting, very interesting sculptures, as well as paintings. The gardens are beautiful and there's a nice cafe to have lunch. A great days outing.
