I visit this place often. An ideal place for every sort of visitor. Long beaches, a great place to shop and eat. Wonderful seafood and hotels to fit every pocket. Choose to bask in the sun or splash into the waters. Enjoy a great leisurely weekend.

New Digha is a good place to spent weekend within a short budget. Though the place is little bit overpopulated and polluted, still the beach is pleasant for taking bath and roaming around. Old Digha beach is comparatively unsafe due to sharp boulders and heavy tide. A local aquarium is an extra attraction to children. Food quality is quite good... More

Old Digha is pleasant. Food and accommodation are cheap, because of which the beaches are almost always crowded. However, the color of the sea is not attractive. Bathing in the sea is not a very pleasant experience as you may get sand particles in your hair. Not too many things to attract tourists.

Digha if not taken proper care in urgent way, will soon become only a picnic spot - but it had potential to become a great tourist destination. Please put some focus to clean up the beach, prohibit drinking etc in the open and make it safe for family to travel. I feel lot of bengalis are shifting towards Puri for... More

It is one of the best trips i have ever had. I was in Kolkata for 6 months for office work and was dying for a break. We 5 friends decided to go to Digha as suggested by our local counterparts and we were not disappointed. We reached Digha in night and got a hotel quite easily. Since it was... More
