It was a pleasant trip.. Beach was mostly crowded.. Surroundings were not too clean.. Good place though

Digha is situated close to Kolkata (186 kms).It is a good destination to get away from hustle bustle of city life.It is better to stay in new digha than old digha.Old digha is congested. The sea beach is nice. Hotels are modest but clean.Nice place for a short holiday.

Digha is situated at about 187 KMs away from Kolkata and it is well connected with rail and road.Apart from train and regular luxurious buses,taxis are also easily available. Please if you have any sense in your head give this city and beach a miss. It is the filthiest cemented beach with the sewerage of all the hotels flowing directly into the beach in front of your eyes. Stinking n over crowded. I love this place...It's really great view.All the hotels are located near to the SEA, So u can go @ any time. I love street food, Specially fish. And u have lot of variety.
