A nice place for a weekend retreat. Old Digha fish market is a place to visit. U can buy fresh fish at cheaper rate and can have it cooked there itself(shops available for cooking fish, meat like u want).Use necessary skin protection creams before getting into the water(must).

This is a very good place for weekend trip. Barrister colony sea beach is the most enjoyable sea Bach. Hard & soft both drink is available in this beach. New digha sea beach is also very good.

Its a very good place to visit with friends particularly, not very expensive yet luxurious. The beach is not very clean yet very crowded and full of fun. If you want to go from Kolkata, there is transport available via Bus and Train, bus leaves from Esplanade area and Train from Howrah. Obviously you can also go in car too.... More

Very gushing water waves unlike Goa and other western beaches.. this really takes your heart away.. the Mandarmani beach was quieter and less dingy than the old Digha beach.. The scarlet colour of the sky that reflects on the sea is really amazing.. Njoyed the water scooter withing the waves was really njoying.. A short trip for a day or... More

Well, Digha is a pleasant place to visit, especially if you want to get out of monotonous stress. A visit of 2-3 days would be the best. If you wanna take a bath, then I suggest you to go to Old Digha. It's just 15 minutes away from New Digha and proper transport facilities are available.Market of New Digha beach... More
