There is nothing disliking there. it is beautifully constructed a temple of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Pramahansa Deva, maintained and run by ramakrishna Mission. it was founded by Swami Vivekananda.it is located just on the bank of river Ganges. its tranquility, particularly during prayer in the evening is memorable. one can avail lunch at Math at cost against purchase of Meal... Spectacular complex, a must to visit. It is possible to walk around, and to sit quietly and observe the worshippers. Very interesting and fascinating.

This place deserves to be the No 1 ranked in Kolkata's must visit places... it is absolutely amazing... the shrine, the museum, the river bank...everything is so clean and neat...its a but far from the city centre but well worth the time... the people here are very friendly and disciplined. And they expect the same from you.

Most calm and quite place just beside holy river ganges. Our guide Rupak take us from Dakhineshwar to Belur math and back in local boat , which is indeed a memorable journey . Closed from 12 to 3 P.m. so better go after 3. The teachings of Swami Vivekananda is the most modern and relevant of today's world.

The shrine is so beautiful . You feel peaceful and calm . The light muddish pink colour is so soothing to the eye. It holds up the true brilliance of Swami Vivekananda.
