Thank you Manjit for a lovely tour learnt so much about kolkata that I didnt know before. My friends and cousins enjoyed it very much as well. A tour which I would definitely recommend the walking is at a leisurely pace admiring and learning about the sites, whilst sampling hot tea And taking loads of pictures.

My wife and I are very serious photographers, and have taken walks and photo tours all over India. This was probably the best we've ever had. Manjit was incredibly knowledgeable about the neighborhood we were walking around, and he's a great story-teller. Sometimes it's a fine line between a good walking tour and a good photo tour. In this case... More

There is a reason that this tour is #1 on TripAdvisor, and that is because it is the most fun you will have in beautiful Kolkata! It was the highlight of our trip to India. Manjit made it such a fun experience. We got a real insight into local life in Kolkata and got to try the most amazing food... More

Manjit is an amazing person to hang around with....He knows his city very well. He knows what a photographer wants. He takes to those parts of Calcutta which are not common for tourists.... I recommend his tour for a photographer who wants to capture Calcutta's real essence and also to those who are not a photographer but wants to take... More

I have done two trips with Manjit and my 80 year old father has also done another two. They have been very memorable. Firstly I did the vegetable market and then the ethnic quarter. My father has done the flower market and the clay idols. I would have done four trips if I had not been knocked out by a... More

We booked a walking tour with Majit whilst we were in Kolkata. Very quick response and our tour was booked. 6am start, but well worth it. Excellent tour. It was mainly based on the history of British rule in Calcutta. Great information. Funny anecdotes. Some great photo tips. I'd highly recommend these tours. I wish we'd had the opportunity to... My friend and I arranged to meet Manjit, crack of dawn,ie 6.15,he picked us up by car and off we went for an extremely entertaining couple of hours. He took us to places we would never have seen by ourselves, never mind have access to. Stopping off to sample local street food and delicious chai presented the"old" way in clay cups,so much... More

What a wonderful and passionate tour guide sharing a lot of history. He makes you feel as being part of the city and tells you the stuff you can't find in any guide book. It's this kind of tour you'll feel sad when it's over. It's a must do in Calcutta.

At the last minute we booked a tour with Manjit after recommendations by fellow travellers. Myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the city streets and experiencing the reality of day to day life. Manjit was very informative and we enjoyed his stories and information about Kolkata. He is happy to answer any questions about India!!This experience is... More
