Manjit is a wonderful tour guide that really shows you Kolkata in a way that you would never be able to if you explored the city by yourself. His Market Photo Tour was amazing, as you are able to interact with the people who breathe life into the city everyday. The places he takes you are not and never will... More

We had an absolutely incredible time doing two of the walking tours. We got to see parts of Kolkata we otherwise wouldn't have, eat great food, meet wonderful local people, and Manjit was an engaging and warm tour guide, tons of fun to spend time with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn more about the city! Will definitely... More

Manjit, the tour guide, picked me up from my hotel at 6.30 am to go first of all to the flower market. He had a car drop us there. It was marvellous because I was taken through the small lanes, the covered market and areas that most people do not get to see. Manjit knew everyone and he was greeted... More

We started the cultural tour around 6:30 on a sunday morning, we walked around for about 2-3 hours in Calcutta. Manjit was really nice, and knew a lot about the city. We went to all kind of places, markets, churches, synagogues... One of the best things i'll remember about my trip to Asia.

Calcutta is not necessarily easy on the eyes at first glance. If you see the best of New York when you pass right through (Bob Seger), then you see the best of Calcutta when you stop to smell the spices in the markets and hear the quiet in the temples, mosques, synagogues, and churches. But you need a local to... More

The tour started @ 6:30 in the morning. We could watch the city wake up - in the belly of the city of joy. We had breakfast at some of the local places Manjit knew. He knew all the places and all the people knew him. Took forever to get from one place to the other since he needed to... More

The cultural tour with Manjit was my favourite thing I did in Kolkata by far. If I'd had more time, I would have happily done a couple more tours. The combination of an insider's guide to Kolkata, as well as the photography tips and instruction, made it the perfect tour for me. Definitely something I would do again on another... More

I have travelled to many places and I head straight for the markets and hope to get some good photos. But the pics never turn out great. So to find a tour that takes you right into the thick of the markets, with a local who knows you want to take great pics and will help you do it, is... More

Having only 4 days in India and spending my time between airports, hotels, and meetings, this was a fantastic opportunity to experience the 'real' India in just a few hours. The logistics were seamless, and Majit was an excellent host. Being in such a foreign environment as people go about their daily lives (making a living) can be a bit... More

Thank you Manjit for a lovely tour learnt so much about kolkata that I didnt know before. My friends and cousins enjoyed it very much as well. A tour which I would definitely recommend the walking is at a leisurely pace admiring and learning about the sites, whilst sampling hot tea And taking loads of pictures.
