Park street is a land mark place in Kolkata. It has many eateries around from budget to fine dining and legacy places. Also it is a shopping haven. There are many footpath book shops and I found the oxford book shop the best. and Peter Cat restaurant food very tasty here . must visit while in Kolkata.

I have loved Park Street in Kolkata since my childhood. Truly a nice place where you could shop, dine, drink, dance! Yes, everything is available on this road. But mind you, parking is a big pain and you need to have a driver, if you want to see around. He drops you off, you walk around, you call him, he... More

Great variety of restaurants and very nice selection of shopping opportunities. In one area, an excellent Bengali, Chinese and traditional Indian restaurant with wonderful classic curries were only a few feet apart. Along the road were several stands selling old classic 33 RPM albums.

A great place to hang-on and spend your evening - you have lots of shopping options. Reminded me of T. Nagar Ranganathan street in Chennai with shops all over on the streets. Definitely found shopping cheaper compared to Chennai. Though i read about interesting street foods options, the sight of those didnt allow me to try them. However lot of... More
