You should travel once on the bridge (either in car or better walking) to understand what "crowded" means and why this is lifeline of Kolkata. And to take photographs of the bridge, take Strand road and turn left opposite Gupta mansion (see Google maps). This congested road will cross Circular railway line and take you to flower market and Armenian... More

Lots of old shops, clean & a refreshing break from the hustle & bustle. Restaurants (inc MacDonalds) & shops. Well worth the visit. Beautiful old buildings.

Noisy, dirty and pungent in places. Park Street may be the best that Calcutta has to offer but it is a long way behind the standard a self respecting tourist would respect. But we could say that about so much of Calcutta.

Park Street has a life of its own. I love to walk or just sit in one of the restaurant and watch people pass by. Full of noise and nostalgia hours can go by, people gazing or window shopping,

This is the oldest and still the best area for bars and restaurants in the city. Many many good options to choose from for eating and drinking, some of which have been there for 100 years.

Park Street.. the commercial hub of colonial Calcutta. Must visit place for travellers. Walking along the street starting from Victoria Memorial passing the tram lines, wide British laid roads, fast moving traffic, wide green garden lanes on both sides, Eden Gardens... Well well well....I love it whenever i m in Park street as there is alot one can do from food to fun, buildings to pubs, also you will find it well connected to the rest of city. Just go to Park street and enjoy the best restaurants.

Some areas are over crowded, Very naroow streets, You need to find Vegetarian food. Gungour Restaurant is the best place to have food. Historical buildings.
