A Science City that will attract only couples looking for a place to spend the evening. As it is, children hate Science. This place does nothing to make it more fascinating. It defeats the entire purpose of the place. More

we visited this place in June ,We all enjoyed the evaluation park inside the s, city.My children couldnot enjoy the outer science projects for hot weather.Science city is very good attraction for children.If i go again to kolkata i will go in winter to visit science city and Alipore zoo properly. There's this really bad stench in and around this area - it isn't something specific to science city, which is a nice enough place by itself, but the whole area - probably because of Dhapa in the vicinity - I wish they could do something about it, it would make the science city experience soooo much better! Rides galore from ropeway to space odysey.Agitated dinossaurs that makes a child's heart skip a beat .Space theatre that brings Serrengetti images to life and a collection of principles of science contribites to a daylong scope for entertainment. More

Honest attempt by the previous governance to come up with something interesting on the fringes of Kolkata. But honestly not worth the effort, time and money battling the mad traffic of Park Circus to reach the place. Better options are Birla Technological Museum or the Nehru Children's Museum. More

Your kids will have a field day once you get in the space museum and science museum. Recommend the Mirror magic and space theater which use a fish eye lens to project movie on a dome shape screen; simply amazing to watch. The place needed a little more clean up. More
