I got to know about this mountain from the song of famous Bengali singer and song writer Anjon Datta in my childhood. From then I have always wanted to see Mt. Kanchendjungha. Finally I got to see the mighty peak from Darjeeling of West Bengal. What a magnificent mountain to see. I was mesmerized looking at the mountains from my... More

Kanchenjunga Mountain is one of the highest peaks on earth. It is so high that you can't see the top of the peek because of the clouds. It is also sacred to the people of Sikkim who follows Kirat Religion. The best place to see the peak of the mountain is from the Tiger Hills

A sure 'not-to-be-missed' sunrise from Tiger Hill... as the sun rays fall on the magnificent range of the Kanchenjunga, it leaves you with an image in your heart.. which mesmerises you.

Thought that the scenery pictures on the web before we went were an exaggeration. How wrong can one be. The whole experience was breath-taking and the walking fantastic Must be seen to believe.

Fantastic! Awesome! Seeing is believing. There can hardly be anything to dislike about watching the world's 3rd highest peak right in front of you! I liked the special "view-points" where one can spend hours seating on a bench and gazing at the wonderful panaroma of the snow-clad Himalayas.

Is the third highest peak in the world. In the early morning when it is best viewed, it just sits on top of the clouds and is an image that is truly unforgettable.
