Beautiful place, serene, clean, full of peace and tranquility. Excellent for people to want to spend an hour or two quietly, alone. You get to see the Buddha in 5 poses. Must go. Spend some time at the pagoda

A Place closer to God. You can feel the peace and nature, if you come to this place. Nothing more to say about this place. Nice place, neat and clean and also nicely maintained.

We walked all the way from our resort to Peace-pagoda. The place is very beautiful, calm and serene. We also met Buddhist students from Thailand who had come to stay, study and enrich their knowledge. The view of the valley from the temple is mesmerizing. Must visit, if you are in Darjeeling.

Way to the Pagoda will make you respect it because it is a 30-45 degree elevation from the base, going till there won't be easy for a person who is not familiar with hilly terrain, otherwise the Pagoda is worth seeing. Do remember to revolve around the Pagoda for spiritual upliftment.

The peace pagoda and the nearby Japanese temple gave one a strong feeling of peace and serenity. It is a place where one can sit for a while and reflect in the garden surrounding it.

Beautiful place, calm and serene, tall trees, good views, fresh mountain air, prayer bells, hymns and chants, etc. Saw various statues and poses of Buddha, felt good taking a stroll around the pagoda. There was a prayer session in progress and it was good to participate in it. Recommended if you've the time to go to a peaceful and serene place... More

Once you enter Peace Pagoda, everything comes to stand still. Lovely Stupa with Buddha in the center is very enchanting. Its surrounded by tall pine and rhodendron trees making it very exotic. It would have been better if silence could be maintained. Noisy tourists spoil the atmosphere. Luckily, in the same campus is the Japanese temple. Once you enter, the... More
