It is the second best place to see in Darjeeling after the zoo. The place is very quiet and very well built. The pictures of buddha's evolution is a must see.

Visited on 23rd May. Peace Pagoda & Japanese Temple are adjoining. Peace Pagoda have Buddhist golden sculptures over it. Moreover it was looking beautiful. Japanese Temple was also excellent. We reached temple when there was prayer going on at 1st Floor of the temple. Overall we liked both this monuments. It is part of Darjeeling sightseeing places.

its an average tourist spot, can take a miss on it, we went there as it was enroute to a couple of places we wanted to see, but it wasn't anything great that I would go there to visit the place

It is a very well maintained, clean and quiet place. They will also let you be part of their daily ritual. Place has a very well maintained garden. Views are also nice. Pagoda itself has very good depictions of some of the events from Lord Buddha's Life.

A japanese peace pagoda, is situated at a very peaceful place along with a small monastery. Its almost same like i seen in lumbini, nepal. Beautifully built. Do walk around the pagoda to experience it more. Best if visited in morning time.

It has a Buddha statue located at some height. You get good view of the valley from here. It is located next to Japanese temple where you can find monks chanting mantras in rhythm.

Peace Pagoda is a very beautiful structure. I had to see it from the gardens of Japanese Temple as the stairs up were too much for me. It looked enchanting with one moment the mist swirling around it, the next moment the sky clearing up. The scenic mountain view is an add on.
