Have been to many Zoos, but this one was just an experience in itself. The layout is such that ensures that you get a very close and clear view of the animals. The key highlight was the Red Panda...must visit

Sprawling zoo with some rare species. Impressed by snow leopard + clouded leopard. Loved watching the red pandas play. Must visit for families with children - even teens will be excited. The Himalayan Mountain Institute inside the park is an inspirational stop. Salute to Tenzing and his spirit.

Really awesome place with what seem like quite happy well cared for animals. You can really get close up to see some of these amazing creatures.

We weren't expecting much but this was an enjoyable little zoo featuring animals from around the area. Clean and the animals generally had had nice shelters.

The important thing I got here compare to others is natural reflection of the zoo. Though animals are staying as others zoo but the mountains & trees gives it more natural look.

I was obliged to buy the zoo's ticket and to gat trough it, in order to visit the mountaineering institute and the museum because they are inside the same land, but, like for any zoo, i just dislike them...

We went in the morning starting our day - planned for 2-3 hours. There is no place to park so the tourist vehicle will drop you and park far off. Take the drivers phone number. Climb the slope and get tickets, there are some souvenir shops outside and within the zoo as well - avoid at best. As we are... More

Very scenic settings. Good place. My 2 year old enjoyed a lot. I specially liked the birds and the leopards.
