But after reaching there and staying a couple of days, I think some additions and editing should be done to get a complete picture. ABOUT THE PLACE and GETTING THERE: It is a small settlement, nearly 6kms... More

This is a beautiful valley surrounded by high mountains. After months of monotonous work schedules, this place will bring the untouched pristine beauty and peace of nature to your heart. The cottages are well built, looks very beautiful both from inside and outside. These are all built of wood and some parts from concrete. There is one large hanging bridge... More

We visited Suntalekhola and Rocky Island on 30 Sep, 2014. The climate was very nice and the spot was also very good. We spent about 3 hrs.

Suntalekhola is located around 6 Kms from the samsing tea estates and is an ideal nature retreat, getting lost amongst the lush green environment, continuous melody of the flowing river water and the chirping of the birds around you. There are accommodation facilities offered by the West Bengal Forest Department in this location. The place could be visited for couple of... More

The last words in Nature Tourism. Experience whisper with forests, mountain streams, and orange orchids.there are two beautiful forest bunglow in Suntalekhola. Suntalekhola is truly an offbeat destination in the Himalayan foothills of Dooars in the backdrop of glistering green and blue sky with touch of everlasting beauty

Very peace and good for honeymoon couple. We stay at WBFDC cottage with 20+ people. It was a official trip but we all like it. Only suggestion there are no light in the street so we can't move from hotel at night.
