Santale khola located in the Dooars is best visited from Lataguri, where there are several hotels - we stayed at the Green Lagoon. The place also has Forest department operated Tourist Resorts.
Liked the place in particular and duars in general so very much that visited once more before the rains. This time added jhalong as well. At suntaleykhola stayed at the WBFDC bungalow and at jhalong at the Forest River Camp of the same govt. Organisation. Amenities very basic but the place is excellent. Staff are nice and helpful.
