Recommended to go on own transport. There are autos available from the highway, but I'm not sure about their safety. Once you reach the parking place, there's only one petty shop which has some biscuits and cool drinks/water, so carry your own food. We will have to walk around 1.5 kms to go to a lake like area where the... More

Very nice place for trekking, would advise you to reach there early 8 or 9am, carry small bag, snacks and water bottle. Be careful when you claim the rocks. Avoid taking family in week days.

This place is also referred as TADA falls, I often visit this place which is located around 80km from chennai. After crossing Tada railway station take left from the road and travel another 20km from. Last 10 km will be small and rough forest like road. All vehicles can travel in this road. best is Bike travel. Avoid alcohol consumption... More

Don't try to reach out the falls location its something tough to reach out there if you know swimming then only it is possible to take bath at falls rather than taking bath at falls you can take bath at many polls like 'Royal Tub', 'Mango Pool', Siddheswar Pool... Nothing much of a locale... the place is dirty as a whole with a lot of littering of plastic and booze bottles. Forget going with your family..

The falls, also known as Tada falls, is around 100 kms from Chennai. This was my 3rd trip and each time I find the place getting dirtier and crowded. There is nothing special about the drive to the falls and the road to the base is nothing. After you park your vehicle, keep following the trail and you will reach... More

I had been there in the first week of March. If you want to go with a family, this is a terrible place, but if a bunch of guys want to have fun then it is nice. Most of the guys go there for drinks. Go there, choose a small lake, sit with you friends and drink. The problem is... More
