Its the most famous city of Chennai where anybody would choose for shopping. A lot of products whether branded or cheap is available at a reasonable price.Easily accessible by public transportations. The crowd over there is what cant be tolerated or managed.During weekends the city is suffocated with the huge crowds. I prefer buying clothes ,electronic and households buying from here.

For everything south Indian! Food, Dresses, ornaments, jewellery, Electronics, Kitchen ware, Traditional items, etc. You get everything here. A ten min walk or an auto rickshaw or a bus, pick one and you can go to pondy bazaar where you find bars, pubs, restaurants etc.

We can buy anything and everything here. Air conditioned, branded and well known shops are usually crowded. Quality of products depends on the shop. Usually reliable, wide range to choose from. Street vendors have the same products (/sub stranded) but more expensive compared to the shops. Advantage here is, they usually have the best designs/ patterns. Saves us a lot... More
