It is one of the Mughal Era MARVELS which one must see. In fact, it would be not too much to say that one must spend some time there and look at the years old mirrors specifically placed one - by - one. Even if you are not a great photographer, the pic you take will automatically reflect the charm... More

Millions of mirrors that makes it glitter. To me it seemed more to add to its glitz than to make the queens adore themselves. Once the sun shines on them the brilliance is amazing to watch

Located in Amer, this very beautiful Sheesh Mahal is a grandeaur to watch. Million of small pieces of glass, very artistically placed in marble and lovely murals makes one imagine the royalty period in India. One of the amazing photos one can take in Sheesh Mahal is taking a picture in a mirror frame whilst reflecting ones picture from a... More

Like several sites in Jaipur, the Shesh Mahal is in very fine condition. Beautiful and full of fascinating detail that you will see nowhere else. I highly recommend this site along with most other sites in Jaipur

A part of amber fort this place is a great catch. It has a beautiful inlay work of small pieces of mirrors set in astonishingly beautiful patterns all around in a palace.

The Hall of Mirrors is indeed a great design and architecture of the Amer Fort. The hall and its ceiling is decorated with pieces of mirror and the light or sunshine used to give a bright feeling to the royals residing inside the fort.

This mirrored room and the art put into it is one of, if not the best highlight of the fort. And with an experienced guide, you can get shown the best places for taking photos, some tricks to show the glow of its arts and with the right historic information. The fort and its parts are definitely one of the... More

basically its not a Mahal but just a small place with 365 windows in it. A normal click standing outside can work out if you are short of time. This was made to have a fresh air for Maharani who was staying in City palace.

Found this a enjoyable visit and awed by the architecture etc. A worthwhile excursion. Could have done with more time but on a tour!

The Sheesh Mahal is located inside the Amber Fort and is beautiful to see. It is a palace that used pieces of mirrors and gemstones to decorate the walls and ceiling. These would reflect the sunshine or candle glow for the royal family.
