Its part of Amer palace and is good You need to understand the science to enjoy. Can take a guide for the same. However if you have visited once then you know science and history. Elephant ride is good but its till 11:30 AM

Mirrors all the way, you can see yourself everywhere, but with time, the beauty of Shesh Mahal is getting faded. So, you will not enjoy as much you want to.

Would have loved to see this place in candlelight - it must have been incredible! The detailed floral and animal motifs, with thousands of embedded mirrors are truly stunning - one can imagine the court amusing themselves in the evenings in this lovely space. Definitely a high point of the! Amer Fort

Amber Fort, situated on a hilltop outside of Jaipur, is incredible. It’s a must see on everyone’s list. The elephant ride up the steep path is an experience in itself. An undisputable highlight will be Sheesh Mahal, a structure known by many names – Hall or Mansion of Mirrors, Palace of Glass, Mirror Palace, and Jai Mandir. It was constructed... More

Absolutely charming . The idea probably came from a similar place built by the Mogul kings in Agra. Would have been superb if we were present at night with some lamps and candles burning and millions of reflections .

The craftsmanship of this area was beyond amazing-- even though they no longer allow people in for the candlelight reflections you can easily get a feel for how fabulous this must have been when filled with the colorful ladies dancing and the curtains billowing in the breeze. It must have been ethereal and still holds that charm.

I didn't not knew that Shish Mahal is part of Amber fort. Bit of surprise for me. What a Artistic design. I was glad that it was still in not too bad shape and well maintained. Only regret is that we can't enjoy view of Shish Mahal at night when candle/diya burn and glow the entire mahal!!!
