Interesting site ,well maintained and clean place. The artworks on the site is not easy to duplicate even now without technology which was absent back then.

As the name suggests, sheesh mahal is made up of mirrors. The artwork that was done is mind-blowing. Every aspect of the place was given due consideration. Tip: If you have a torch, you may put some light on the mirrors & it looks you are gazing at stars in the day.

This has all the mirror effect with stars to see at the roof top, even during day time, bad thing is that entrance has been closed to see it from inside because of damage caused by people coming so far. It is inside Amer Fort.

I really enjoyed my visit here, although we did have an excellent guide that was full of knowledge. the history and the sheer awe some parts of the Shesh Mahal can make you feel really make it worth it. I'd recommend a visit to anyone, although be sure to take a guide or do your research prior, knowledge of the... More

An interior view of a room in Amber Fort covered in thousands of tiny mirrors & that why it is called as Shesh Mahal. Bright sunny day is best to enjoy it completely. Now a days you just have to see it from outside as entry is not allowed.

At the time of writing, the title picture has nothing to do with the Shesh Mahal. The hall, part of Amber Palace was fabulous on a dull day and so I can only imagine how it must sparkle on a bright day. On our tour of Rajasthan we saw an assortment of Shesh Mahals but this is the grandest. The... More

The sheesh mahal is part of the much talked about Amer Fort. Thousands of mirrors adorn the walls and ceiling of the breathtaking room - must have been even more beautiful by candle light

Sheesh mahal or the hall of mirrors is easily the best maintained part of Amber fort and well worth the visit. The room is made up entirely of belgian mirrors and remains spectacular despite the passage of time.
