Liked the cool atmosphere. Did not like the crowds. The Birla Mandir is getting on with the years now but maintained pretty well. Its always nice to spend a few hours here and then move on to Chokhi Dani or other places.

We went here as part of a city tour. It's fairly small so doesn't take long to go around but is worth a stop. The temple is beautifully carved from marble and has neat figurines in the pillars and arches.

Built of white marble, with large grounds , we enjoyed visiting this temple. Spotlessly clean ,the prayer hall was not crowded and we sat there for some time.

View from top is awesome. JDA building in front of the temple shows as you are in Jaipur. Nice temple and not very crowded also. There is one more temple at upper side of the hill which is a part of fort and make a note it will be open only on shivratri.

Birla Mandir, Jaipur is a Hindu temple. This temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur. Birla Temple of Jaipur looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth.

Entrance is free. Shoe rooms are available to deposit your shoes for 1 rupees. Peaceful and so divine. Impressive marble work and details. Photography is not allowed inside. Enjoy the view of the surroundings as well. You'll see a temple like fort sitting on the mountain hill enroute to Birla Mandir. Pay homage as well to Lord Shiva, he will... More

Birla Mandir is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Its also very similar to all other Birla Mandirs at different places in India. My recommendation to visit this temple on weekdays, so that crowd could be less & you can enjoy the pleasant silent & calm there.

Birla mandir at Jaipur is a peaceful place to see God. Birla family has made this very elegantly. You feel peace and rejuvinate your soul . Nice attraction to visit whenever you visit Jaipur.

one of the prettiest places in Jaipur. The temple is a sincretism of hindi gods and godesses and other philosophical and religious figures: Jesus, Confucius, Socrates.... Very neat
