Birla Mandir, Jaipur is a Hindu temple. This temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur. Birla Temple of Jaipur looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth.

Entrance is free. Shoe rooms are available to deposit your shoes for 1 rupees. Peaceful and so divine. Impressive marble work and details. Photography is not allowed inside. Enjoy the view of the surroundings as well. You'll see a temple like fort sitting on the mountain hill enroute to Birla Mandir. Pay homage as well to Lord Shiva, he will... More

Birla Mandir is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Its also very similar to all other Birla Mandirs at different places in India. My recommendation to visit this temple on weekdays, so that crowd could be less & you can enjoy the pleasant silent & calm there.

one of the prettiest places in Jaipur. The temple is a sincretism of hindi gods and godesses and other philosophical and religious figures: Jesus, Confucius, Socrates.... Very neat

This temple is a wonderful pristine masterpiece in the style that has become associated with Birla Mandirs. Definitely a site worth visiting atop a hill, and overlooking wonderful views of the city.

I went there in the month of november 2013.The mandir was beautiful in every aspect with intricate designs, awe inspiring murti of Laxmi Narayan. And marble beneath your feet above your head & beside you possibly everywhere as the mandir is totally carved in marble. In Jaipur locally they call it Marble mandir or Birla mandir. We get humongous pani puri's at the foot... Despite the crowd, a place of peace and quiet. Go there and enjoy the Aarti. The temple is built beautifully and maintained well too. It is worth the visit.
