Well Maintained, and well organised. Easy to tour without the help (disturbance) of any guides. Thogh some parts are out of bounds for renovation (damaged beyond repair?), the tour inside is worthwhile.

Loved the elephant ride although you must arrive early in the day as they are only allowed so many round trips up and down to the fort! Also, there will be men taking photos on your ride up. I'd recommend smiling for the cameras since you can barter down the price and get them for next to nothing. We made...

Approaching the palace there are lovely views across the water.Its great watching the elephants walking up to the palace.Great views from the top and very interesting walking around.As it opens about 9-30 it is interesting to firstdrive up to see the 2 forts on the hills behind.Lots of wild peacocks!
