Despite not being an uttely religious person, I enjoy the early morning Aarti at Govind Devji temple. This pre-dawn aarti is the best as you don't have to face congested roads at this time. The whole atmosphere turns divine and ethereal. The bhajan / ramdhuni after the aarti is an icing on the cake. People won't leave unless the priest... More

The temple does not have many carvings or statues like the other Indian Temples.Parking and approach are also a problem. The rush is almost perpetual.

There are a number of places to visit we need at least 3 days to complete sight seeing. The local food are different than others places-songs are liked very much. Food, sight-seeing and shopping

If you are a peace lover and wants to worship Load Krishna & Radha, this would be the place. Good architecture and smooth management, well, most of the time. If you hate lots of people, try go there before the Jhanki time so you could see the gods peacefully.

This temple was used to keep the idols of Vrindavan safe during the Mughal invasion. Presently houses the idols of the ruling family of Jaipur. Scenically located and best seen from the Chandra Mahal.

The Guinness World Record held by the temple is testimony to good management. The idea of a large hall to accommodate hundreds of devotees at one go is great for a temple where the timings are regulated

You get the feel of an old world, grand temple when you visit the temple with large courtyard and compound. The idols of Govind and Radha are enchanting and tend to pull you towards themselves. Watch for the opening time as the temple (located in the city palace) opens in small time slots only.

We just made it to the noon aarti at Govindji temple. Its a very ancient temple and people of all sects throng this shrine for offering prayers and its believed that your wishes come true. It was very clean and the crowd was managed very efficiently by temple authorities.

These are original deities from Vrindavan Dhan, and 1000 years old. Being near to market one can enjoy doing shopping also.
