Elefantastic is a unique and inspiring experience that is a must do for anyone visiting India. Elefantastic is owned and managed by a former Elephant Rider ( Mahut), farm focusing on health-care and breeding management for friendly, beautiful and special elephants to produce healthy elephants to live on Earth. Although Elefantastic was only born on 21st February 2012, my family's involvement with our elephants backdate to over 4 generations ago. Before Elefantastic materialised, I was an elephant rider at amber palace for 9 years, providing riding tours for the many tourists that visited amber palace. Although I enjoyed being an elephant rider at amber palace & met many tourists, I couldn't help wanting something more meaningful, not for me, but for my elephants. Many of the tourists I met were interested in the day to day life of elephants and what I do with them, rather than just wanting an ordinary ride. As I pondered on the possible opportunities, I realized that I wanted to show people a more in depth insight into the lives of my elephants. There are vast misconceptions across India that animals - especially elephants - are very badly mistreated. I decided that I want to prove to people that this is not always the case and take a step forward in eradicating these misconceptions. This decision inspired me to start Elefantastic, which gives an insight into the daily lives of our elephants. You will see that all of our elephants are well fed, with spacious rooms, attentive vet check ups every week to make sure they're all at the peak of their health, with loving and caring riders. « less

This was our favourite day of our entire month in India. We learnt how to feed, ride and wash an elephant working closely with the elephant's keeper. Throughout our visit we were impressed by the care given to the elephants and the gentleness shown by the keepers. We were kept constantly informed what we were doing and were offered drinks... More

At 4500/- per head one might find it a bit pricey, but for an animal and nature lover like me it was absolutely worth it. We spent a good 4 hours with Rahul and his team and we were well looked after. We interacted, fed, rode and bathed the elephants and then were served the most delicious home cooked indian... More

As an animal lover this is one of the things that I enjoyed without feeling guilty. The elephants were very gentle and fun to be with. RAHUL and his team have put up a great thing which treats these gentle giants very well.I loved the part where we ride the elephants and gave them a bath. Quite exciting.

We skipped Elephant ride at Amber to meet Elephants at Elefantastic and we are glad we did That. Simply wonderful and amazing experience !! Initially all of us were little scared and were keeping a distance of 3-4 ft but after an hour or so we all were hugging and kissing the elephants. It was hard to keep my daughter... More

Elefantastic provided a full afternoon's worth of learning and fun. Feeding, riding, painting and washing these gentle giants was a learning experience. It was also enjoyable to have a home-cooked meal in the home of the host/manager, Rahul. Rahul and his team think of every detail.

We (two adults & 12 & 8 year old daughters) thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. I was a bit sceptical about the experience initially, but enjoyed it. My daughters absolutely loved it and didnt want to leave even after they had finished. They spent time feeding the elephants - we had Shaku & Shampa. The elephant ride was good but the highlight... I came with a group of college students volunteering abroad in India. We heard about Elefantastic through Tripadvisor in Jaipur after looking into some options for riding elephants and wanting to choose an experience where the animals are treated well. We are absolutely blown away with the overall experience with the elephants and the hospitality of the Elefantastic team. We... More

We had a wonderful experience at Elefantastic. Our 10 year old absolutely loved the experience & although I was worried about him, the experience suited my 19 months old too!( so families with young children do not hesitate !) Highlights of our experience were: feeding and showering our lovely elephant! I would definitely recommend this experience while in Jaipur !... More
