Elefantastic is a unique and inspiring experience that is a must do for anyone visiting India. Elefantastic is owned and managed by a former Elephant Rider ( Mahut), farm focusing on health-care and breeding management for friendly, beautiful and special elephants to produce healthy elephants to live on Earth. Although Elefantastic was only born on 21st February 2012, my family's involvement with our elephants backdate to over 4 generations ago. Before Elefantastic materialised, I was an elephant rider at amber palace for 9 years, providing riding tours for the many tourists that visited amber palace. Although I enjoyed being an elephant rider at amber palace & met many tourists, I couldn't help wanting something more meaningful, not for me, but for my elephants. Many of the tourists I met were interested in the day to day life of elephants and what I do with them, rather than just wanting an ordinary ride. As I pondered on the possible opportunities, I realized that I wanted to show people a more in depth insight into the lives of my elephants. There are vast misconceptions across India that animals - especially elephants - are very badly mistreated. I decided that I want to prove to people that this is not always the case and take a step forward in eradicating these misconceptions. This decision inspired me to start Elefantastic, which gives an insight into the daily lives of our elephants. You will see that all of our elephants are well fed, with spacious rooms, attentive vet check ups every week to make sure they're all at the peak of their health, with loving and caring riders. « less

Visited in March 2014 and it ended up being the most memorable day I spent in India!! There are no tricks or hidden agendas, the trip was exactly as described. The elephants are perfectly tame and well taken care of. Rahul and his staff were great the trip was well planned and everything taken care of. The bonus was a... More

This was as good as we hoped it might be from previous comments on Tripadvisor. Everything lived up to expectations with my grandaughter describing it on Facebook as the best day of her life.

I went here in April, 2014 while I was in Jaipur for a wedding, and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever done in my life. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, spoke excellent english... there are not enough nice words to say about this place. They picked me up at my hotel, provided free drinks any... More

This has being one of the highlights of our trip, getting to spend an entire afternoon interacting with an elephant, feeding it, painting it, riding it,swimming with it and washing it!!! Getting to have a home cooked Indian meal in his house was also an added bonus!the staff are all so friendly and really cared about the welfare of the... More

My 11 year old daughter would say that this was the highlight of her trip to India. She learned first hand about the care and feeding of these massive creatures and even enjoyed a swim in the lake with her favorite.

This was the best day of our holiday. From beginning to end we really enjoyed it. We were a family of four, including two children aged 3 and 5. We were collected from our hotel and taken to see the beautiful and happy and very well looked after elephants. Rahul is a very good host. From beginning to end we... More

One of the highlights on our two week trip to India!! We visited Elefantastic in Jaipur with our two daughters aged 8 and 10 and spent a whole afternoon with Shaku, a 24 year old female elephant. We were picked up from the Amber Fort and taken to Elefantastic where we given a welcome drink and invited to spend an... More

We visited Elefantastic as a last minute arrangement. We had limited time so Rahul gave us an abbreviated program. We had expected to just drop in and see an elephant, but Rahul's hospitality was outstanding. He spoke to us for an extended period of time, answered questions and arranged for us to feed, ride and paint an elephant. The village... More

This was by far the best thing I did in Jaipur. I no longer felt like a tourist, away from all the temples, and autos. The conditions the elephants were kept in looked excellent, and the service provided the staff matched this - the food at lunch was great too. The auto driver turned up to pick me up on... More

A very well run experience. Up close and personal with an elephant. They are wonderful creatures. I took the optional safari trip in the evening, which probably wasn't worth the extra cost. You might consider combining your visit to Elefantastic with the Amber Fort and Palace since they are reasonably close to each other. Ask Elefantastic if their driver could... More
