Description: Experience the Heart of Giving for the Heart of Living at Elefantastic...
Experience the Heart of Giving for the Heart of Living at Elefantastic. Elefantastic is a unique and inspiring experience that is a must do for anyone visiting India. Elefantastic is owned and managed by a former Elephant Rider ( Mahut), farm focusing on health-care and breeding management for friendly, beautiful and special elephants to produce healthy elephants to live on Earth. Although Elefantastic was only born on 21st February 2012, my family's involvement with our elephants backdate to over 4 generations ago. Before Elefantastic materialised, I was an elephant rider at amber palace for 9 years, providing riding tours for the many tourists that visited amber palace. Although I enjoyed being an elephant rider at amber palace & met many tourists, I couldn't help wanting something more meaningful, not for me, but for my elephants. Many of the tourists I met were interested in the day to day life of elephants and what I do with them, rather than just wanting an ordinary ride. As I pondered on the possible opportunities, I realized that I wanted to show people a more in depth insight into the lives of my elephants. There are vast misconceptions across India that animals - especially elephants - are very badly mistreated. I decided that I want to prove to people that this is not always the case and take a step forward in eradicating these misconceptions. This decision inspired me to start Elefantastic, which gives an insight into the daily lives of our elephants. You will see that all of our elephants are well fed, with spacious rooms, attentive vet check ups every week to make sure they're all at the peak of their health, with loving and caring riders.

Beautiful experience. It was definitely the highlight of my Golden Triangle visit. Such a genuine experience. Rahul's mother is a fantastic cook and dining at an Indian home among a welcoming Indian family was the most authentic thing I did in India.

It was very pricey, and the novelty of riding an elephant started to wear off as I got a bit nauseous (I get motion sick sometimes).

This was probably the coolest activity we did in our 2 weeks in India. Rahul and his staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. You spend some time feeding your elephant and getting to know her. Then you take a ride on the elephant. Finally you get to paint the elephant and then wash her. The whole experience was amazing!

My son and I had an incredible afternoon visiting the elephants at Elefantastic. Owner and elephant expert Rahul Sharma offers you the opportunity to have a close-up and hands on experience with his elephants as you learn how to feed, bathe and handle them. The elephant village that is home to the elephants and their human families is a comfortable... More

We recently visited Elefantastic as a family of four. Two adults, two girls aged 10 and 12. Our girls love animals and we though this would be something they would uniquely enjoy as we are from Canada. Not to many elephants there :) I'm not sure if they or their parents enjoyed it more. The animals are special and look... More

This is a great way to spend time with elephants. You get your "own" elephant for a few hours and you get to feed her, bathe her, hug her. Many of them are rescued and short of roaming free in their natural habitat, I can't think of a better place for them to be. You get to experience hands on,... More

To start with it should be said that spending time with these beautiful creatures is something we will never forget. At the start you get to make your bond with your elephant. This is really special. Patting it, and making eye contact while feeding them. The guy who runs Elefantastic is lovely. He explains everything you ask about and ensures... More
