Description: Experience the Heart of Giving for the Heart of Living at Elefantastic...
Experience the Heart of Giving for the Heart of Living at Elefantastic. Elefantastic is a unique and inspiring experience that is a must do for anyone visiting India. Elefantastic is owned and managed by a former Elephant Rider ( Mahut), farm focusing on health-care and breeding management for friendly, beautiful and special elephants to produce healthy elephants to live on Earth. Although Elefantastic was only born on 21st February 2012, my family's involvement with our elephants backdate to over 4 generations ago. Before Elefantastic materialised, I was an elephant rider at amber palace for 9 years, providing riding tours for the many tourists that visited amber palace. Although I enjoyed being an elephant rider at amber palace & met many tourists, I couldn't help wanting something more meaningful, not for me, but for my elephants. Many of the tourists I met were interested in the day to day life of elephants and what I do with them, rather than just wanting an ordinary ride. As I pondered on the possible opportunities, I realized that I wanted to show people a more in depth insight into the lives of my elephants. There are vast misconceptions across India that animals - especially elephants - are very badly mistreated. I decided that I want to prove to people that this is not always the case and take a step forward in eradicating these misconceptions. This decision inspired me to start Elefantastic, which gives an insight into the daily lives of our elephants. You will see that all of our elephants are well fed, with spacious rooms, attentive vet check ups every week to make sure they're all at the peak of their health, with loving and caring riders.

We had a wonderful day with Rahul and his family playing and washing the elephants. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Jaipur to spend half a day/ a day here - it was the best thing we did in Jaipur!

This is a fabulous place where you can get up close and very personal with the elephants. The elephants here are very well cared for. I particularly loved the way our elephant, Tamana, moved her whole belly closer to me as I was painting the mandala. Obviously she loved to be tickled. I was nervous but within a short time... More

I went to Elefantastic with my husband and 12 year old daughter. It was just what you need to get away from the madness and chaos of India. As all the reviews state, the elephants are well looked after. regarding the comment from a review posted in May of this year, we never had any sexism and can only imagine... More

We visited Elephantastic today which was absolutely fantastic ;) Rahul was easily contactable and efficient at replying with ample information regarding the experience! The elephants are extremely well looked after and don't appear to suffer any stress or neglect whatsoever. Very knowledgable staff and great mahouts and interaction with the elephants and excellent value for money if you are contemplating... More

We had an amazing time a elepfantastic but one thing really ruined the experience for both of us and I feel it is important that this is changed if you want to continue to attract customers. Sexism was a problem we came across many times in India and i often had to shrug it off but I really expected more... More

Very exotic feeling to be on an elephant. Very well organized traffic with elephants going up and coming down. I have asked the guide and the elephants are well treated and fed. They are nicely dressed too!

There is something indescribably soothing and quite serene about interacting so closely with such an enormous and powerful, yet gentle, creature. Our children (14 and 11) were absolutely thrilled to feed, pet, decorate, and wash "our" elephant-- Birly -- and then to be given a ride by her. We visited in early April 2015, and were very pleased to see... More

One of the highlights of our trip to India and best experiences I have ever had - it is worth every single penny. I am so glad that we stayed a extra day in Jaipur and went to this wonderful place! After visiting similar places in the past (Sri Lanka and Thailand) and being disappointed to see elephants with chains... More

We were graciously welcomed by very friendly and smiling staff who gave us water and cold drinks (these continuously are given to you throughout the day) and were introduced to the elephants. They are beautiful and very well looked after. It is a very hands on experience and they really let you take time with the elephants and we were... More
