Raj mandir once upon a time used to be good Cinema Hall and was famed to be best in Asia. But not any more. It requires mega Investments before it could regain its lost Glory.

Worth going to watch a movie. Even if no subtitle, the story is easy to follow and the show is 50% in the room.

Theatre is old and classic but when it comes to comfort, seats are not that much good, screen is big and style is cool.

Cinema on a grand scale. We were taken to the Raj Mandir by our guide on a visit to Jaipur. It was like being inside a birthday cake - with all of the pastel colours and grand architecture. There was a massive screen, and lots of seats. The audience was great, and really participated in the movie - which was... More

Cinema building is interesting itself with it's crazy art deco interior so have a proper look once you are inside. and you should go for some bollywood production to experience it fully. even if the movie is in Hindi you should understand main plot; bollywood's script is not advanced and there is Indian expressive way of acting. Being on bollywood... More

A great location for a Bollywood film to watch. The cinema itself is inside a beautiful building. There is no subtitle ...mostly in Hindi, but fully experience the atmosphere is an experience in itself.

Raj Mandir cinema resembles more of a theatre in European sense. Big chandeliers in the hall, people dressed up and all that. You will feel like you're visiting some great event. And as to the movies - don't worry you don't understand Hindi, it's pretty clear without it! Enjoy brightness of colours, landscapes, dances and songs on the screen, and... More

If you want to combine with the Indians, and experience a true Indian cinema, must go even if the film is in Hindi. very surprised by the comfortable seats which at first seems hard, but with the seat that moves.
