When you enter the gates of Ladli to see the girls - street children and former street children under the care of I-India - happily working, studying, dancing, enjoying a meal.... it bolsters your belief in humankind. Life can be so cruel to those born on the fringes of society. Girls and women suffer particularly. So any project that provides... More

I-India is an incredible organisation, supporting some of India's most marginalised and destitute children. Ladli is a fantastic program run by I-India, which provides vocational training in jewellery making, tailoring and local crafts, to allow children and women to work their way out of the poverty cycle. The founders of the organisation are inspirational. After seeing the incredible poverty throughout... More

The centre is full of love, laughter, chatter and at the same time learning to make beautiful jewellery and handicrafts. I-India the organisation that runs Ladli help 4,000 street children in Jaipur and do an amazing job giving... More

Ladli/I-India is a real life example of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. As an US expat based in Singapore, I got involved with Ladli/I-India in 2013 and recently had an opportunity to visit Ladli/I-India in Jaipur. This was a very special experience, and I would recommend this to any traveler who wants to see how ordinary people can make a... More
