When you enter the gates of Ladli to see the girls - street children and former street children under the care of I-India - happily working, studying, dancing, enjoying a meal.... it bolsters your belief in humankind. Life can be so cruel to those born on the fringes of society. Girls and women suffer particularly. So any project that provides... More

I-India is an incredible organisation, supporting some of India's most marginalised and destitute children. Ladli is a fantastic program run by I-India, which provides vocational training in jewellery making, tailoring and local crafts, to allow children and women to work their way out of the poverty cycle. The founders of the organisation are inspirational. After seeing the incredible poverty throughout... More

I spent some time at this amazing vocational training centre where abandoned and orphaned street children come together to learn a skill. The centre is full of love, laughter, chatter and at the same time learning to make beautiful jewellery and handicrafts. I-India the organisation that runs Ladli help 4,000 street children in Jaipur and do an amazing job giving... More

Ladli/I-India is a real life example of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. As an US expat based in Singapore, I got involved with Ladli/I-India in 2013 and recently had an opportunity to visit Ladli/I-India in Jaipur. This was a very special experience, and I would recommend this to any traveler who wants to see how ordinary people can make a... More

We visited Ladli Vocational Training Centre with our 7 year old daughter and 9 year old son. We found the girls attending Ladli to be well cared for, happy and contented in the vocational and educational studies provided by Ladli. It was also wonderful to watch the girls enjoying a large nutritious lunch of rice, dhal, vegetable curry and roti... More

I visited Ladli for the first time after learning more about Ladli and it's associated organisation I-India 8 years ago. Ladli is a vocational training centre giving Jaipur's street children a chance to gain medical attention, counselling services, food, basic education and most of all an opportunity to learn skills for which they are paid a fair wage. They make... More

I have had the pleasure to visit Ladli Vocational Center twice during 2013, once with a swedish group and once with my 19 year old daughter. It has been very nice to see the devotion and love that is involved in this organisation, today run by Charoo and Darshna and many other caring people who want to change lives of... More

My partner and myself visited ladli after reading about it on the Internet. Luckily our hotel in Jaipur had a pamphlet with the address and great reviews from the hotel owner. The ladli house is where children and young women hand make beautiful pieces of jewellery , bags and cards to help the organisation. After buying a bookmark and a... More
