A great place for spiritual peoples but for tourist it is a good place to see the crazy crowd. Temple is mostly full of devotees. A long organised Queue to enter the temple with a small area to take darshan of Lord Ganeasha. You can't properly stand inside the temple. better you take darshan online or any live channel. Well known in India as the top temple in Mumbai. I guess people come here more as it is celebrities' favorite temple. Must say that I liked the sankh and drum being played during the aarti very much. Tight security..separate lines for ladies. Laptops and cameras be deposited outside the security check point for Rs.10 as no photography allowed inside.... More

It was my 3rd or 4th visit to Mumbai... This time I had time to roam around...and I was staying nearby Siddhivinayak at Chaitanya Towers, so on Sunday morning I took a chance to go visit this famouse Ganesh temple. After walking for some time and crossing a hundred vendors (who sell flowers, coconut, incense sticks etc.), i reached inside... More

it is always a memorable experience when you visit this temple.....every time I visit Mumbai I make sure to visit. they let you go directly inside if you are along with a small baby, which makes it very convenient, otherwise it takes some time to be inside.

Didn't like the fact that you had to take your shoes off some distance away and that it's so chaotic as people are pushing and shoving to make their worship. Beautiful inside and definitely worth the trip
