This is one of the most cleanest beach you’ll find in Mumbai. For the past 2 years it has been my favorite place to unwind. The atmosphere here just cleans your mind. Aksa beach sunsets are really special, I've seen some astonishing sunsets here at Aksa. This beach is slowly developing into a hot tourist destination. The darker side, people... More

Aksa beach undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Maharashtra. It is very clean and one can find a large variety of snails and shells. It is a popular weekend destination with youngsters. It is not safe to swim as the currents are strong and the sands of the beach keep shifting because of the waves. Views of sunset and... More

Have spend my childhood on this beach...... This beach is attracted by nearly 15000 people coming by only on week ends ., uffff .... quite a few :) but the enjoyment wht you get when ur in it is not comparable to anything. You will now find a few cottages that have mushroomed up which lease's out on a daily... More

Aksa is the cleanest white sand beach in mumbai with decent crowd. It also a few resorts nearby. Though not many eating places like Juhu beach but way cleaner. There are a few good chat walas and vada-pao walas here which are enough. It is also not as lively as Juhu beach is at nights but still a cleaner option.

I had been at aksa beach with my wife on February 2014 during my anniversary stay at the Hotel "The Resort". We had a lovely time on beach. The beach offers some vendors for sale of some tasty chat items. With the sun set seen and the gentle breeze, we spent some beautiful moments there.

15 minutes from Malad station, Aksa beach is clean, big. White sand beach most of the time can find crowded, not so clean water for swimming. Can find many food stall selling vada-pao(Mumbai burger), fried egg, cool tender coconut water, ice cream etc. Many resorts are there near beach.

Visited Aksa Beach 4/13/2014 with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the reviews I was thinking I was going to "Lil Goa." Let me just come out and say it. Overrated! No Goa here. More like over crowed and stuffy. First off it took us one hour from Malad station by auto, because no taxis around. Rs. 170... More

Its very risky to venture in the waters here. I have personally been saved by a friend earlier in life. But this is amongst the few real beaches in Mumbai. Its a cool drive to this beach as well. This along with Daana Paani beach and Erangal beach are also havens for sunday mroning cricket on the beach.

I was surprised that a place like this could exist within Mumbai. The only thing I brag about this place is the absence of bhaiya's, the food stalls are managed by the local aunties who can cook up some yummy corn, bhajiya's, tea, etc (perfect food on the beach). You don't need to be around Juhu or Chowpatty, come here,... More
