Gorai beach is one of the most beautiful and clean beach in Mumbai. While reaching this place by road you will feel like you are travelling or riding in Goa. It is nice place to visit with family to see sunset and on weekend vacation also .

Gorai is a beautiful and quite beach area and surrounded by the villages of Manori and Uttan, Pali, Chowk, Dongri, Rai, and Murdhe. During 1980s, Gorai was known for its clean beaches and palm trees. However, with the increase in pollution around Mumbai, the Arabian Sea is unfit for swimming although Gorai is less polluted than the other beaches in... More

Visited the Gorai beach along with Madh Island some time back. It's a nice serene beach and makes for a good quiet evening by the sea. Little far away from the city and therefore naturally less crowded, which is its usp.

While driving through the road to reach the beach, it was great experience. . Country side road..little bit Goa like feeling, hilly road.. enjoyed driving. No need to park your vehicle in any paid parking. You can drirectly take your car to the beach provided no high tide. In restaurant person may serve you Halua(black pomphret) fish instead of pomphret..cheating.... More

Have been to this place upteen times as it's close to where i stay. Though the cleanliness has deteriorated over a period of time it's still one of the safest beaches to swim in and around Mumbai. There are few options to stay and eat around , but nothing fancy.

Very few shacks but their food quality is poor. Also rooms are available if you plan to stay. Sea water is not clean so aviod... More

We took a long drive through Uttan beach. Beach was clean but average. Good for both families as well as couples. Overall Nice experience. However return back before getting dark as the way back to main city is long and very isolated as well as beach is very isolated with very few visitors.
