Old world perpetual charm of this great place. On a rainy evening the walk down this amazing location transports one to a filmy set. and of course, the joy ride on the horse cart makes one feel like royalty in the late hours with not much traffic. Amazing.

After full day of work in Mumbai went to Marine drive for a stroll in the evening. Very refreshing Air and vast sea view imparts new energy to the body and mind. Cutting chai and vada pav adds flavour.

Ever have one of those days where you need to walk for miles and stare at something beautiful? Marine Drive is the perfect place for one of those days. I walked Marine Drive for 5 miles and still never reached the end. You can either walk on top of the seawall and star onto the concrete "jacks" or you can... More

There is something about Marine Drive which makes me forget almost all my concerns (albeit for a while) the moment I get there. On a cool evening hours can just fly by while you sit or walk around, doing nothing much. Must visit for anyone visiting Mumbai.

It was my favourite spot for a walk in Mumbai, any time of a day. Following it you can reach temples, gardens or beach. There are numerous restaurants, ice cream cafes etc. Really good for running as well. Great views of the sea. You can seat and observe waves or crabs.

It is also known by sobriquets like ‘Queen’s Necklace’ as it appears to be... More
