Alibag, an hour from Mumbai, is a paradise for photography enthusiasts in addition to being a quick-reach short inexpensive holiday destination for a winter weekend. I read about Salt rim in April 14 issue of Filmfare. I stayed there with my family in Sept 14. Though the location of the bungalow is amazing there is nobody in the vicinity for about 1 km on both the sides. I felt a bit insecure! The beach is rocky and hence not safe to enter the sea. The... The pictures on the internet site let your imagination run wild about a wonderful holiday in a Portuguese style villa perched on the edge of the coastline, and it is almost that. It was quite a time I had taken my family out. So I decided to take them to the Alibag as I was recommended by one of my office colleagues who had visited this place. My family enjoyed the coastline, clean beaches and the water sports in this area.
